I think after reading these numbers that Israel needs to be on their own and United States full support needs to cease immediately. They are totally capable to take care of theirselves independently. American Taxpayers need to keep their money fluctuating in the States here and not over in Israel. Anyone agree?

Look at these figures:

I doubt this includes private donations by American Christians and Jews. It surely doesn't include the billions Bernie Madoff imbezelled and sent to Israel. I don't believe there is any way to calculate the economic cost to the U.S. of propping up Israel since 1947.

I understand the foreign aid. It's really just a polically correct way of proping up a military ally. Anyone else notice how quickly foreign aid to the Philipines disappeared when they made us abandon our bases there

Not by strength of by might, but by my spirit. Sooner rather than later, Israel is going to have no option except to rely on God.

You do realize that the military portion of that gets spent on weapons made here, right?

I personally am all for the Israelis tellign the U.S. to stick it so they can go act like any other nation and take care of their own problems.

How much does the U.S. get back in intelligence from the region and also reports on how their military hardware performs?

america has been funding isreal's orchestrated genocide for decades now. its time we let them go on their own and whatever happens to them happens. it has ZERO to do with us.

Yeah, we take tax payer money, give it to Israel ... then they turn around and give it to our defense contractors.

Wow, that sounds a lot like redistributing America's wealth into arms dealer's pockets using Israel as a laundromat to me.

Correct. Israel is a key component in the Military Industrial Complex.

But that is not a good thing overall.

But obviously it's worth it to the U.S. to maintain that relationship.

It is worth it to the Military Industrial Comples, but not worth it to the USA.
The MIC does not have the American peoples best interests at heart.
The MIC is a self feeding beast.

The U.S is not part of the military industrial complex? Whatever that is. Military contractors don't employ Americans. They dont pay dividends to Americans? They don't provide weapons that help us maintain peace and destroy our enemies?
What world do you come from?:cuckoo::cuckoo:

they also help us destroy the peace and get our service people killed unecessarially.

I do not expect you to understand this though.
