"Rep. Mo Brooks -- one of the Republican lawmakers facing calls from the January 6 committee to testify about his interactions with former President Donald Trump -- said Wednesday that he is willing to testify but only in public. "My basic requirement is it be in public so the public can see it -- so they don't get bits and pieces dribbled out," the Alabama Republican said."
But Mo Brooks was talking different this whole time about testifying before this committee; as recently as last month...what changed?
"U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, said Friday he won’t testify before the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol if it interferes with his campaign schedule in the runoff for Alabama’s U.S. Senate seat, among several other possible reasons."
Mo Brooks says he won’t testify before Jan. 6 ‘witch hunt’ committee if it conflicts with Senate runoff
The congressman and Senate candidate gave several other reasons why he may not testify, including if the committee wants to question him behind closed doors.

Oh, he lost.....guess that means he has some free time now.....If going off-script and admitting the whole big lie campaign is BS and the party needs to move on -- is what lost him re-election -- what does he think testifying before the Jan 6th committee is going to do?? He is basically ending his political career by doing this.....Even Mike Pence learned his lesson...yea, his life and his family's life was threatened while his own President watched and trolled -- but even that doesn't stop Pence from getting back on his knees and kissing up to the very people who wanted to see him hanged....so if Mo Brooks wants to have a future in the GOP -- he better go to that committee and put on a show....run up to the panel and slap Liz Cheney, spit in Adam Schiff's face - you know, do something to regain your Conservative street-cred....but right now, he is acting like a traitor.
