Is KellyAnne Conway correct? That MLKJr. wouldve opposed impeaching this White President?

I'm not going to argue with someone white trying to tell me how we used to vote because they read something.

I'm black, I know when, how and why blacks left the republican party...

Actually, you keep making emotional-claims plus posting asinine articles which prove that you do not know very much truth, at all.

No matter how many times you say that you are Black, it won't make you correct within the false info you post. You being Black, does not change how faithfully Black America supported the GOP prior to 1960. The negros' voting poll results from 1930-1960 will not change just because you are Black today as you post on USM.

Negro voters support the Dem party, 1970 thru today, at a rate of about 90%. This is not the way it was, prior to 1960
, as you being Black and dishonest in here still will not change that fact.

No matter how many times you say that you are Black, it won't change how MLK Sr. had those meetings with RFK & JFK pal. Plus it won't change what happened when JFK called Coretta King as he prepared to get MLKJr. released from jail several weeks before the election of November 1960.

You being Black, does not change how faithfully Black America supported the GOP prior to 1960.

You being Black, does not change how your argument and your foundation are, fundamentally-flawed, because you want White people to stop being racist ---but then you insult them and talk bad about them whenever they move away from their Racism and start to uplift negro people. Yes therefore your brain's bizarre conclusions about how life works, does mean your existence is a neo-example of humans living illogically.

...Second, the republican party has never been the friend of blacks. I think I can say this as a black man of nearly 60, whose parents and grandparents explained why blacks left the republican party...

What you posted here, is simply not true. Let me know if you need other factual examples, to accompany those I'll lay out here.

Yes.

Even as according to, Black history, which verifies that the Republican Party funded the majority of Abolitionist Movements following the Dred Scott decision. It was the Republican Party that controlled the, North, and did oppose the Dems' racism which enslaved negros in the South. It was the northern USA's GOP that instigated The Civil War, over slavery, against the racist Dems who ruled over the USA's racist antebellum South.

Then too, I should remember how you really hate it, when are shown to be incorrect.

... efforts by white conservatives to oust blacks from positions of Texas party leadership and incite riots to divide the party.

Once again, you posted a contradictory argument here.

IOW, guess who? As in guess who put those Blacks in positions of GOP party leadership ---if the republican party has never been the friend of blacks? lol
I mean, what, did the Blacks threaten to take Whites as hostages or blackmailed Whites? ---unless Blacks got put into these positions of power in Texas?

Because if not? Then that can only mean one thing pal :) and that being how White people in the Republican party had been the friends of Blacks in order for Blacks to get into those high positions in Texas' GOP faction that you listed.

So do you concede that blacks favored the republican party during the period of re-construction because of "POLICIES" that were being advocated by Republicans then or because they were just slaves on the republican plantation??

Because it seems whenever a voting demographic supports a particular party because of the policies that party advocates -- only blacks get attacked for it...why is this??

If that asshole King was alive today he would be just as afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome as all the other sicko Democrats. To pretend otherwise is ludicrous.

MLK Negro was a filthy ass Democrat and a Socialist that loved the welfare checks the Democrats handed out to the Negros in exchange for votes.

You bettcha he would be a stupid hateful TDS afflicted Democrat Moon Bat if he was around today.

Good thing he got whacked because the last thing this country needs are more stupid hateful Democrat Negros.
The usual sentiment I see from racist white conservatives...…

I have not read ahead yet -- but I am betting that the OP didn't even push back on your comment

Dr King would be repulsed that America could elect a man like Trump

I cannot concede that, because I never gave it any thought. Here I was focused on IM2 being incorrect, once again, when he said Republicans have never been friends of the Black Community.

And yes I sure did notice how you made sure to gloss over that fact, as well.

It is true. That's according to older blacks who are now dead who told me stories since the 1960's. I don't even need to waste any more time with a white dude trying to tell me that the life experience of blacks born during reconstruction who died in the 60's, 70's and 80's are incorrect.

I didn't gloss over any fact -- the only one glossing over facts is you....

So I will ask you again since I am sure now you have had more time to think about it....do you think after reconstruction -- (when black republicans had the most prominence in terms of congressional seats held) -- did black folks mainly vote republican because of the "POLICIES" that were being advocated at the time??

Policies like the Civil Rights Act of 1866 -- something conservatives at the time (primarily southern democrats) called radical....radical policies like allowing blacks to hold public office...oh no!!!!

Policies like the Freedmen’s Bureau -- which was established to aid former enslaved African Americans in the South.

Then there was the Federal Enforcement Act in 1870 and Ku Klux Klan Act--- which used the power of the federal government to "ban the use of terror, force or bribery to prevent people from voting because of their race, granted equal opportunity for every person despite race to vote"

But these radical reconstructionist policies are no surprise when you consider the party's standard bearer wrote a book like this...

Now are the blacks who supported policies like that -- are they just slaves on the Republican plantation??

By the way...I noticed you ALSO glossed over the BLATANT RACISM by your fellow "conservative" -- why??

I am not incorrect. Republicans and democrats have been complicit in racism against blacks. The lily white movement is evidence of what republicans actually thought about blacks as well as supreme court cases during this same time period where republican justices basically help kill the 13th,14th and 15th amendments..

Nope. You are telling lies on me.

I never once commented on any Black person's life experiences born during reconstruction who died in the 60's, 70's and 80's. So please stop being dishonest here.

All I'm doing here is posting factual, true examples in history. All you are doing is posting your, emotions, then get angry at me when history shows that you are dead wrong in your rants.

My Race is not relevant, to the fact that I keep proving that you are incorrect. Call me whatever you like, but it won't stop me from using Black history to prove that you dead wrong.

Address what I actually posted, and not what you want to pretend that I posted.

I just used your own example in, Texas, to prove that you are dead wrong and you incorrect about Republicans have never been friends of the Black Community.

Once again, I never gave that any thought. I am now trying to focus on the topic here in terms of how IM2 constantly posts emo-rants full of misinformation.

Create a thread on your question/your info you keep asking me about here, then I will engage you on it.

Oh so you are one of those "Haha, I got you!!" folks I see -- and over the most mundane things too huh? Too afraid to address the goofiness of your own thread because you are too busy saying "goctha!!" to IM2...cool...

Yes liberals did things to the benefit of black people.....including the liberals that had policy influence in the republican party circa 1860's to 1950's --- now if MLK wasn't MURDERED by those white racist conservatives who were so AGAINST progressive policies -- the ones republicans abandoned in the years after MLK -- I am sure he would have OPPOSED the policies of the Trump presidency -- and Alevda King would also have less Fox News appearances since MLK would be totally capable of giving his own opinions...

In fact, most sane rational thinking people can discern from King's own writings and comments what he would think about today's state of politics...specifically the republican oligarchy...

But I am almost certain you never read or heard of his speeches during his "Poor People's March" .....the policy positions that got him killed....

"Now calling himself a democratic socialist, through his Poor People’s Campaign, King was set to create the kind of movement that could fight for not just political but economic freedom for all. He wasn’t just a civil rights activist, he was a tribune for a multiracial working class – people who faced poverty, racism and joblessness, but who when banded together could wield tremendous power."

Martin Luther King was no prophet of unity. He was a radical | Bhaskar Sunkara

And as the great Fred Hampton said “We don’t think you fight fire with fire best ; we think you fight fire with water best. We’re going to fight racism not with racism, but we’re going to fight with solidarity."

Too afraid to address the goofiness of your own thread

No, but I am afraid that this harlequinade you just posted here has made you, ineligible, to receive any topical replies from me.

Go learn to how to respect those here who have never disrespected, you, and maybe then we can talk. Fair?

Yea, I'd run too if I were you...

and I have zero respect for people like you -- who blatantly try to whitewash easily verifiable facts..

Like the ones I just posted -- the facts you keep running from
