Not the topic of this thread. This thread is about high school debate teams and the adults that judge the debates. That said, it is about time for people that know the difference between male and female to take back school boards and PTAs.

When I was in school, there were debates, but the young men were judged on the coherence of their argument not the side of the issue they were on. The brothers told the participants what their positions were in advance. You didn't get to pick your side.

According to James Fishback, the younger guy in the video, it is no longer that way. It was that way when Fishback participated in high school debate in the early 2010's. He said in the video that it was no longer that way when he came back as a teacher debate team coach just 5 years later. As a result, he started a new high school debate organization which is "that way'.
