And, it even said that the fire was minimal, damage was low, and nobody was hurt. She even went to the mosque, and police are thinking this is more of a protest against the mosque than anything else.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of starting a small fire at a Des Moines mosque Thursday morning, police said.


At about 10 a.m., Des Moines firefighters and police were called to the Islamic Center of Des Moines, 6201 Franklin Ave., where there had been a small fire on the carpet, according to a Des Moines police report.


The fire was extinguished by the mosque’s staff by the time firefighters arrived, police said.


Security cameras in the mosque showed a woman, later identified as Aisha Ismail, 22, pouring lighter fluid on the carpet and then starting the fire, said Des Moines police spokesman Sgt. Paul Parizek. Ismail was not on scene when police and firefighters arrived, according to the report.


Police arrested Ismail at a West Des Moines apartment that evening. She was booked into the Polk County Jail on a first-degree arson charge.


There are no indications that this fire was a hate crime, Parizek said. Ismail attended the mosque, he said, adding that her motive for the fire was unclear.

She needs to be deported. Don't you agree?

She needs to be deported. Don't you agree?

Was she born in the USA? Did she get convicted of a felony? At worst, this is a case of simple arson, and probably a misdemeanor.

Does she fill the requirements for deportation? Do you know?

She certainly doesn't fill the requirement for the liberals narrative.

In order for her to be deported, she would have to be a non citizen, as well as been convicted of a felony. Currently I see none of those conditions existing. Link it if you have it.

Bull. What if she's an illegal alien?

WTF do you think a non citizen is? It's a term to cover EVERYONE who is a non citizen, whether they are here on a visa, or they are here illegally.

If she was trying to do a terror attack, she would have picked a different target, probably one with lots of civilians and no Muslims.

Really? It was the mosque that she regularly went to! And, she's a Muslim, so where is the hate crime in that? Did she do it against Islam? Do we even know why she did it? And, if a Christian went in and set fire to a church they went to, would you want them charged with hate crimes as well? I think you need to look up the definition of a hate crime.

My guess on this is that she either came to loathe what she was being taught and thus wanted to burn it down, or, she wanted it to be perceived as a anti-Muslim hate crime. If proven the latter, give her a long-term in prison, if it was because she came to hate Islam for what it represented, give her a 'Freedom Medal," some money, maps to other mosques and release her.
