I certainly hope this does not escalate into "action" We certainly do not need a WWII. At the end of the day, maybe Israel will be in the history books as starting WWIII?
Maybe not? Either way, four years ago, this was unimaginable. Right?

The conflict between Israel and Hamas is fast becoming a world war online.

Iran, Russia and, to a lesser degree, China have used state media and the world’s major social networking platforms to support Hamas and undercut Israel, while denigrating Israel’s principal ally, the United States.

Iran’s proxies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq have also joined the fight online, along with extremist groups, like al-Qaida and the Islamic State, that were previously at odds with Hamas.

The deluge of online propaganda and disinformation is larger than anything seen before, according to government officials and independent researchers — a reflection of the world’s geopolitical division.

The changes @ nazi Musk's fascist X machine were installed in good time for filtering the coming disinformation.

People don't realize how close to getting involved in a war we really are. We have two carrier strike groups stationed where all this is going on. China continues to harrass and stalk our Air Force in the South China Sea, and we are in a soft war with Russia right now.

To fully explain how precarious our position is (the enemy of my enemy is my friend) we are relying on Saudi Arabia as our ally in the Muslim world, the very country that spawned the worst terrorist attack in our history.

We are in an unwinnable situation due to our meddling in the region and aligning ourselves with people who genuinely hate us.

The most unsettling fact is that Joey Xi Bai Dung's incompetent fiscal actions, and weak foreign policies have led us to this juncture in History, similar to the moments of start of WWII.
Japan replaced by China, Russia replaced by Germany and Italy replaced by Iran and it's Islamic religious Fascism.
The craziest thing about all this is that the fear mongering Democrat Socialist Commies all had their panties twisted claiming Trump would take us to war.

This country would not survive another global war, we are barely making it through this "peaceful" era without massive inflation and civil unrest. It will not be your Hollywood war, with Tom Cruise and Jody Foster fighting the evil empire somewhere over there while you attend pep rallys here. There will be suffering like you can't imagine right now, and it will last for untold years. There will undoubtedly be martial law for a while until even that fails, and then nothing. Your petty and trifling political differences will seem silly then, but it will be too late and no one to argue with. All because no one can say no to war.

Some reality among the din of sword rattlers here of late...

I'll give it less than a year for them to change their tune...

I don't think this was unimaginable at any point. Russia and China are on one side, the US and EU on the other. Proxy wars have always been a part of the Cold War and post Cold War period

Neither Israel nor the so called Palestinians are important enough to China or Russia to go to war with the US over.

The new Axis powers are the ones stalking us and our allies

You seem to want a repeat of the 1930’s where the good guys (France, UK, and US) surrendered weaker nations to the fascist onslaught trying to maintain peace

Fuck Hamas and the other Jihad groups in the middle east. Israel has the right to deal with them.

The rest of pity party thread we are all going to die is pathetic.

Yes . The Good Boys line up is the obvious one .

But just suppose the clever money has backed the Nutty Yahoos to drag the US into a long term war and not just a Gaza battle , and then suffer disastrous consequences .

I favour such a possibility although the Shiteists will attempt to ridicule it as mad Conspiracy .

As if a mad lady takes a blind bit of notice of the peasants and their common thoughts .

Not at all. What I see is more like a repeat of the American civil war where local emotions take priority over common sense and war is glorified and pushed on both sides, and the results are permanent and solves nothing. People are forced to take sides, and any reason is lost in the flag whipping. This is totally different from the 1930's, and there is still time to reconsider.
