there are no recusals in political persecutions.
Some seem to assume that one can step away from the trial and find an impartial, higher authority that will act in a saner, or rational fashion. Won`t happen. This could go all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court who will purse their collect lips and decline to hear the case.
