If you don't contribute and if you use an adblocker then you are a welfare queen.
Actually they sell the number of hits this Forum gets, thanks to such excellent posters like myself who contribute stellar spot on content and commentary and enrage lunatic commies and pedophiles and their friends no end for the reading enjoyment of the public.
Yet they never offer me the 7 figure salary I would get on talk radio.
If you don't click on the ads then there is nothing to sell.

I can see why you guys havent come up with a facebook alternative yet.One should not have to resort to ad blockers etc. It goes to the mind set of those running this board.
In general advertizing and marketing has run amok in this country and they are just begging for the big bad gubberment to step in and regulate their asses. Not that I'm for government regulation for much of anything but the dumbasses are begging for it..
People almost always get what they deserve if they stick to it long enough and they most definitely are. This nation is probably pissing away half the available bandwidth for advertizing and marketing purposes and I'm sick and tired of it. They've ruined print media, TV and now the Internet. Enough is enough.

Well, depending on the devices and browsers one is using, they may not be coming from here anyway. In any case, they're easily blocked, and it has been explained how many many times already, and by a moderator as well.

My bank is Mother Russia. It closes my account for 2 days if I spend money online here or on Amazon or Ebay. It's really inconvenient to try to go to buy distilled water at Walmart on Friday night if I've donated money, and I have to do without for 2 days. Tap water makes me sick for a week, so I try to buy when I'm down to having only 3 gallons in the house. They say it's not them, but Mastercard. Before they had Mastercard, they had Visa, and did the same thing. They don't want any intervention from online sources. I have no idea what they're going through or who's doing what to my account or even if I'm not involved in anyway, but whatever loss has been inflicted on my bank or its associates must not be a very good thing. It's a small bank, and I live in a reasonably small town that has a ballooning population in the fall and winter with State University students here, and who knows what mischief they get into online.

Nothing is for free in this world, except for bad advice.I understand the need for advertizing but its getting way out of hand on this board. Having a pop up block the editor and interfering with posting a reply is just carrying things way too far. Either change it or I'll be moving on and giving your advertizers one less pair of eyeballs to see advertising and this board one pair fewer eyeballs to sell. It's just too damn aggravating.

You clicked on the wrong AdBlock, most likely a malware/phishing link. Don't worry, you got out of there. Adblock and all other legitimate add-ons are linked through your browser via settings, in Chrome it's called Extensions.Adblock when I clicked on it wanted a fee, my information, etc. I got outta there.Adblock is free and does a great job

People need to make money to pay the bills. Got no blocker, does not bother me. Only if ads slow down net. Then it gets too much.
