Obama's victory in the general election was aided by his tremendous fund-raising success. Sure obama did, rich people can spread their donations out. But in a tough economy the poor will not donate money when they need to put food on the table,
Under Republicans, there are ONLY "rich" and "poor". That is their vision of where the country should be going. Under Democrats, there are rich people and "middle class" and the poor, we work to bring into the middle class.
You only have to look at the policies of the two parties to know this to be the truth.
