My god daughter gets her hair done like this from time to time. The issue is not with this one little girl. The issue was either poorly spelled out or you guys cant read. Its about the appropriation of Black culture. Its the constant stealing of things Black people originated, had frowned upon from white society, and then validated and made into a commercial product. For years Black women were fired or had a hard time getting a job unless they wore their hair straight.
