Blackrook, almost 243 years ago on July 4, 1776, our forefathers set forth on this New World Continent the declaration that all of us are equal, and we would no longer be ruled by foreigners bent on taxing us with no representation in their far-away and unsympathetic halls and courts. Most all of them were men radicalized by the spirit of Christ that God loves men dedicated to the freedoms he bestows upon them. Most all of them had received education in the very church buildings of their various faiths in Christian doctrine. They went on to construct a nation of free men, based on a Constitution they entrusted into the capable hands of Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and others to write down their will, amended by a Bill of Rights to describe what people can expect from the new government they were forming, that guaranteed a degree of differences guaranteed to them to practice their belief in God they saw fit, the freedom of speech with which to express those beliefs, and their right to carry arms not only to feed their families with meat from nature, but from people who would threaten to take away their freedoms, if that should ever take place again on this continent. All of the freedoms they believed in had been taken away from them by foreign troops who had no compunctions about busting into their private residences and expropriating whatever they pleased, including the peace of mind that they should be considered innocent until proven guilty, and should not have to have their lives turned upside down by an unfair system inflicted on them by ridiculous taxes paired with no rights of redress, due to the failure of their overlords in Europe to acknowledge or receive meaningful dialog with the colonies they had wrongfully decided were mere belongings, to be used and abused at the whim of their monarch and other holier-than-thous who had no caring for the day-to-day issues the Colonists were expected to resolve for themselves unless the King decided in his comfortable confines to distance himself from their plight and keep it locked away in his royal ignorance. Our nation cannot long survive when one of the two major political parties has been taken over by left-wing politics so extreme, it might as well be Communism.
And I think, that's what's really happening, a Communist takeover of the Democratic party.
If Trump wins in 2020, and I think he will, we will still face the election of 2024.
The natural course of politics is that after a Republican has served eight years in the White House, a Democrat is elected. There have been exceptions, but this is usually what happens, and vice versa.
So ultimately, eventually, the Democrats will hold the White House.
What happens then?
The Democratic Party has become so extreme that their control of the White House could literally end our Constitutional form of government. The modern Democratic Party stands opposed to the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Electoral College (created by the Constitution). What will stop the Democrats from abolishing all of the elements of the Constitution they oppose?
I believe that our forebears on this Continent prayed to the Lord our God for his mercy to them and to all posterity on this land, which was soon to become called the United States of America, would truly be his instrument and therefore would bless them with something no one else had ever had a handle on--to figure out what he wanted, to figure out the best of His blessings, and to capsulize that result in a document that would guarantee goodness to people here from all walks alive, and they called in the Constitution of the United States of America with amendments that guaranteed basic freedoms that Christ himself would bestow on men if he were here with us always.
And it has become so loved in this world, people have flocked here to practice out their beliefs here, so long as it did not destroy the Christian spirit with which they met and sealed their allegiance to the Goodness of God Almighty with opening prayers asking for God's guidance, and closing prayers that God would bless their decisions to prosper all citizens who live and work here, so that they can celebrate their pursuit of happiness in living as equals in the land, regardless of race, creed, or clan, as amendments were expanded to include everyone, not just any kind of class such as gentry, etc. The Constitution provided for leadership that would represent the people, a leader to provide for their common defense, and a court to provide anyone who had been damaged by another's bad to gain recompense by people who were wise in matters of American laws.
I believe God agreed with them to give his blessing to their posterity within the parameters of his requirements, so long as they kept the wisdom of laws he'd already given to his people to whom he promised mercy and peace, iow, his believers.
Those rules are simple: keep God's laws in your heart with your heart, soul, and voice; the blessing will last so long as we do. I believe there are still enough of us left to avoid the traps of atheism to ensnare us in a system based on killing dissenters or imprisoning them in misery. That's why they set up the courts. Not everybody believes in helping other people, and when they push the envelope to allow them to remove someone else's life, liberty, and/or their pursuit of happiness in the Lord's givings, just because they hate the things of God, then the courts are called upon to decide who's right and who ain't.
And while we cannot force people to do God's will, he will bless us when we ask him to. When that fails, the freedoms he has granted to our citizens will no longer be. Our forefathers, though, were so longing to have goodness in life, they asked God to bless posterity. And he does. And he will, and we will remain free to worship him as long as we're willing to fight back anyone who tries to deny us of those freedoms to worship the Lord as we see fit. Fie on anyone who tries to destroy man's special relationship with God and his laws of mercy.
