I want to see the documents that show how Cruz supposedly got U.S. citizenship!

The Unites States is actually much more generous than most countries in according citizenship. But it always has had strict rules that require some kind of close ties to the country in order to gain citizenship.

Under the nationality law in effect at the time of Ted Cruz's birth in Canada in December 1970 (the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, part of Title 8 of the U.S. Code), in order for Ted Cruz's mother to automatically confer citizenship on him at birth, these requirements need to have been met:

For persons born between December 24, 1952 and November 14, 1986, a person is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true:
The person's parents were married at the time of birth
One of the person's parents was a U.S. citizen when the person was born
The citizen parent lived at least ten years in the United States before the child's birth;
A minimum of 5 of these 10 years in the United States were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday.

Cruz, that crafty devil, didn't disclose anything about that. So maybe he was a U.S. citizen at birth. Or maybe not. WE DON'T AND CAN'T POSSIBLY KNOW at this point.

Rafael Cruz is a fraud. Only Texas, a state absolutely drowning in ODS could've allowed an illegal alien to become a Senator just because he doesn't like that n*gger Obama.

Cruz was not an illegal alien.
Well not anymore since he married Heidi to obtain citizenship.
His mother was a US citizen, which make him one also.
Non a natural born citizen.

He never was an illegal alien and he gained his citizenship thru his mother not his wife.

If some of you people did not expect this kind of crap after all these years of Obama birtherism, well, you're just stupid...

there was good reason to question Obama's. when his own publishing editors list his home state as being Kenya for YEARS until he's elected then they come out and say it was a Mistake. and many more questionable reasons

No Birther had heard of that until 2012- a full 4 years after they started a Birthering- so no- that wasn't a 'good reason'.

Birthers discovered the eligibility clause in the Constitution in 2008 when they found out that Barack Hussein Obama was running for President.

Meanwhile- Cruz is presumably eligible- he doesn't have to show us anything.

There are only two types of citizenship- Natural Born and Naturalized.

A natural born American citizen is one born a citizen- and Cruz was born a citizen because his mother is a U.S. citizen.

He was never naturalized.

Are you serous? The link actually proved that Cruz is considered to be a natural born citizen. Maybe you'd better read it again and explain how Cruz does not qualify then.

The link most certainly does NOT prove that. Ted Cruz was born outside of the U.S. to an alien, and to a U.S. citizen with less than 5 years of diplomatic and/or military service. Thus he is not a natural born citizen.

You obviously have a reading comprehension problem.

  • Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years (with military and diplomatic service included in this time).

That just means that the citizen parent's 5 year residence in this country would able to count their military or diplomatic service as part of that time if it were spent outside of this country......dum dum.

Nope

Then prove it ole clueless one! There is no requirement for the citizen parent to have served in our military in order for their offspring born in an other country to gain birthright citizenship thru them if that's what you are implying. A simple nope means nothing.

Hey retard? One only counts military diplomatic time IF one were in the Military or a diplomat. His mother spent more then 5 years in the US making him a natural citizen JUST like my son who was born in Okinawa is.

Rafael's eligibility would never hold up in court. Seems like Trump may give that a try.

Your son's case is likely much different.

Well it will take Trump doing more than bloviating or standing in front of a microphone, so don't hold your breath.

Cruz is eligible- but he won't get elected.
