He has a weak economy, high unemployment, and he's a HUGE spender. These are the three areas that Romney will attack him on. In the summer, the SCOTUS will likely overturn the "mandate" in Obamacare, destroying the legislation and further weakening an increasingly feckless presidency. He's facing an uphill battle for sure.

Of course, if Obama attacks Iran, he may be able to eek out a win- we don't like to change Commanders in the middle of a battle.

Yeah an awful lot of hubris being expressed by his followers these days. But i'm not sure why they feel so arrogant and confident. I'm no big fan of Romney but he does have a lot more experience & knowledge on economic issues than Obama does. And that could be what puts him over the top in November. The Economy will be the number one issue. Obama and the Democrats will try to make it all about social issues for distraction purposes but i think the People really are focused on his economic mess. So i wouldn't count Romney out just yet. But we'll see i guess.

As for your post...Obama made history already. I never thought I'd see an African American president. So reliance upon history may not serve you well. Still, I think White Guilt was on the ballot in 2008 and it won't be there in 2012.

The question becomes whether or not he has done enough to get a 2nd term. I think yes. I think it is also a case of the GOP not doing enough to give the man on the street a real alternative.
