I think Obama is going to win the 2012 Election

I believe the plurality of voters will blame the GOP for the gridlock. Especially since Mitch McConnell is on record as saying their #1 priority was to make Obama a 1 term President, the GOP has sided with big business over and over in public, the pledge that the GOP candidates took not to accept a 10-1 ratio to fix the budget deficit....it goes on and on.

Truth is that Harry Reid is as large an obstructionist that you'll ever see. The politics are that the GOP gets the blame.

Thats the way it is.
Bullshit!!!!!!

This is your argument....Corporations are people. Hope you like the way it fits.

A corporation is a business model. The same way a computer is a machine, coffee is a liquid until you freeze it and it becomes a solid. Boil it and it becomes a gas.

The OP is concerned with how Romney will relate to Middle America. Take your "corporations are just like you and me" and try to convince Joe Six Pack of that.

Nobody believed this lady anymore than they will believe you.

so corporations are completly devoid of and apart from people? Is that your argument?

Of course not....defining them as people when they are a business model is a loser of a position....

Which is why you're embarrassed to embrace the foolish....insane....and totally out of touch position.

The position is a loser. You have to wear it like a cheap suit. Hope you at least like the fit. We know you don't like the feel.

Tell it to your Obamy's 'Jobs Czar' GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt. How much Taxes do they pay? And how many American Jobs have they Outsourced over the years? Your guy is completely owned by the Corprate Elite. He has received more Wall Street money than any other Politician in the last 20yrs. This money comes from Wall Street Bankers especially. Just because you don't want to see it,doesn't mean it's not the reality. How else is he gonna fund his $Billion Presidential Campaign? With Food Stamps?

I just can't see Mitt appealing to the electorate. He's going to have to start moving to the middle like next week. I don't think he has it in him.

This may be an ad you'll see in the fall:

The Living Room Candidate - Commercials - 2004 - Windsurfing

I can see Mitt windsurfing too...

Which will be hilarious..because he will have to run against the Mitt Romney of the Republican Debates and RNC Campaign trail.

Silly "Willy (Willard)" indeed!

Romney's been in the middle for a very long time. He's a Liberal/Moderate Republican. I understand the Left Smear Machine will try and paint him as an evil 'Hitler', but that's just Bullshit. They did the same thing with John McCain. He'll actually have to start moving more to the right. We already have a Liberal President.

Exactly! That is why the Baggers and the Far Right will walk away from him.

I don't agree with everything you say but you're spot on here.

I can't wait until he turns his Ralph Lauren baseball hat sideways on the stage.
I would imagine that the entertainment at the GOP convention this year will look something like a cross between La Tremenda and a Southern Baptist church.

Romney is 'Democrat-Light.' Which is apparently what the Republican powers that be want. Personally,i'm completely sick of Democrat-Light. We just went through this with John McCain didn't we? The Left Smear Machine is going to paint Romney as an 'Extreme' Right Winger anyway. They did that with John McCain.

So why not just nominate a real Conservative and let the chips fall where they may? They're gonna get painted as 'Extreme' Conservatives anyway. So why nominate a Liberal/Moderate? It's a Lose/Lose for the Republican Party. It makes me think the Republicans are just throwing these Elections. Maybe they don't want the White House at this point? Who knows?

Gee, wondering whose attending.

Mitt Romney may be able to help the stauch conservatives within the GOP relax and turn out for him in the general election--should he actually become the 2012 presidential nominee--if he chose/tapped a Vice-President with more conservative leanings than his own. Frankly, it's going to take a miracle of sorts for team Obama to lose this cycle, grrrr

100% spot on right.

He'll get 100% of the vote from the right. Getting significant votes beyond that will be a challenge. I don't think he has it in him.

Yeah right.. Tell that to the Supreme Court you fucking idiot.

Obama will win, without a doubt.

While those further to the left are disappointed in him, there's no way they'll vote for a republican.

Most of the moderate and centrist left will vote for Obama.

Most of the right will vote for Romney.

That leaves the independents and undecideds. Which way will they vote?

Romney's flip-flopping, mormonism, "Corporations are people too," and "I like being able to fire people" will turn them off. His performance at the Presidential debate will turn them off. Many will vote for Obama.

Both parties will lose votes to third-party candidates and write-ins for Ron Paul, but the republicans will lose more than the democrats.

The "one-term President" obstructionist mantra hasn't gone unnoticed by voters. Nor have the tax breaks given to the 1%.

The democrats will gain control of the House. The Senate will remain democratic.

The republicans know they're beat. They're just putting on a show, keeping up appearances while they gear up and plan ahead for 2016 and 2020. Really, if they were serious about winning this year, do you really think they'd let that idiot O'Keefe run around loose?

Ahh...the personal attack.

We knew it was coming.

The facts against you? Pound the witness.
The witness against you? Pound the facts.
Both the facts and the witness against you....pound the table.

So now the Supreme Court is the purveyor of what is popular which is what elections are largely based upon....you must love their position on Roe V. Wade, Brown V. Board of Education, Commerce Clause....

I'm glad you brought up the subject.

The political designations will be this post 2012 Election:

White House? Democratic
Senate and HOR? Republican.

The Dems have too many seats to defend in the House and I think the leadership of Harry Reid has not served the DNC's political outlook well.

So why not just nominate a real Conservative and let the chips fall where they may?

Because everyone knows where the chips will fall: an Obama reelection.

The people who decide presidential elections are non-conservatives, non-liberals, non-partisan, most aren’t paying attention to the primaries.

Vote for the guy who actually lived in the real world and actually knows how businesses work. Obviously that would be Mitt Romney. He's just more informed & educated on economic issues than Obama is. I'm not a fan but he's as good as it gets at this point unfortunately. It's either the Liberal/Moderate Republican or the far Left Socialist/Progressive Democrat. The choices do suck but we just can't afford another 4yrs. of Obama. That's my opinion anyway.
