Question 1. Where was the proof that the State of New York suffered any monetary damages from the alleged fraud as required in a civil fraud suit?
Question 2. If the banks were defrauded by Trump's valuations, how did they MAKE MONEY from the transactions?
Question 3. Why did the judge decide to nearly DOUBLE the $250 Million dollar civil fraud suit filed by Letitia James on behalf of New York?

You have a lot of questions to be answered on how the law works and why the decisions handed down were against Trump.

YOu won't get answers here but you can be an annoyance!

Three for you:
Did you read the indictment, the state rule, and the decision?

Please try and stick with the facts.

63(12): The statute does not require intent to commit fraud or anyone to be harmed by the fraud, and it does not give Trump the inherent right to a jury trial, with legal experts noting to CNN that while civil lawsuits that request monetary damages are entitled to a jury trial, cases seeking other “equitable relief”—meaning penalties that force the defendant to take or refrain from taking some kind of action, rather than just paying money—can be decided by a judge alone, which is more common with 63(12) violations and is the case in this trial.

The list of Trump's legal losses in New York is already lengthy:

  • In December 2022, a Manhattan jury found two Trump Organization companies guilty of 17 felonies related to tax evasion. The company was ordered to pay a $1.6 million fine and the case landed its former CFO behind bars.
  • On March 30, 2023, a New York grand jury in Manhattan indicted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsification of business records.
  • Five weeks later, a federal jury in New York found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation in one of two civil lawsuits filed by the writer E. Jean Carroll. Trump was ordered to pay her $5 million.
  • In September 2023, a state judge found Trump and his company liable for a decade-long fraud scheme in a pretrial ruling.
  • In January, another federal jury found Trump liable for defaming Carroll. The jury awarded her another $83 million.
  • On Friday, the judge in the civil fraud case issued his final ruling, saying Trump must pay the state $354 million, plus nearly $100 million in interest.

"The truth is out there" as are the answers.

63(12) the facts.

Question 1. Where was the proof that the State of New York suffered any monetary damages from the alleged fraud as required in a civil fraud suit?

The case wasn't about damages, it was a disgorgement case.

Question 2. If the banks were defrauded by Trump's valuations, how did they MAKE MONEY from the transactions?

Because due to persistent fraudulent and illegal business practices by the Trump Organization they (the investors and insurance companies) based risk assessment in part on legal documents call Statement of Financial Condition required as part of the initial investment and annually thereafter because FPOTUS#45 was guaranteeing the loans based on net worth. By inflating his net worth through lying on the forms he obtain lower rates from the investors based on a lie about risk.

Question 3. Why did the judge decide to nearly DOUBLE the $250 Million dollar civil fraud suit filed by Letitia James on behalf of New York?

Because via expert testimony at trial experts testified that the amount of illegal gains exceeded initial estimates. The Judge applied the calculation based on testimony.

We're entering the age of guilt by accusation. Trump has bravely put himself out there as a target. But they shouldn't count their cash fines against him until the case is over.

What does his shady business practices have to do with putting himself out there?

The answers will come when Trump wins back the presidency. Until then the American system will only ensure wrong answers.

As it is of course with the coup attempt/ picnic attempt on Jan.6th.

This is exactly why large businesses and top celebrities are leaving NY in droves. And Florida and Texas love having rich people moving there.

That's worth a sticker because it lays out the way political corruption has taken over in America..

Trump is guilty and he pays up if the D's win the presidency.

Trump is completely innocent and he gets to keep his money if the R's win the presidency.

Americans used to care about democracy.

Why has that changed?

This is hilarious. The so-called Conservatives used to claim to be the law & order party. They claimed they respected the Constitution... when Blacks cried out that the law was biased against them and wanted to defund the police, the Conservatives were outraged Outraged!!

Now? They lose one election, they are ready to overthrow the government and all elections are frauds.

Their orange fuhrer gets caught with his hand in the till and gets convicted? The law is biased against their poor fuhrer and we must now defund the police, the FBI blah blah blah.

And they wonder why no one takes them seriously. :laughing0301:

And as such the law has been weaponized against Trump because "Orange Man Bad" New York is going to be in a world of hurt if other developers are pursued with the same vigor as against Trump. Investors will be fleeing New York for safer places to invest their wealth and New York will continue to decline.

That said, I doubt the current ruling will survive the appeals process, perhaps under the 14th amendment since Trump is the only one being singled out to be sued this way. "Show me the man and I will show you the crime"
