That's not a surprising comment, progressives always think "everyone else" needs government to "take care" of them.

Of course we need government to take care of us. when we stopped living in caves and established communities we relied on the government to take care of the needs of the community.

Wrong. Government started out exploiting the community. It has done so ever since.

The US is one huge community.

It is also the best government in the world.

That's like saying America has the best extortionists in the world.
