    Yes contact the IRS first.

And possibly your state attorney general or county attorney.

It could be a case of identity theft.
Have you checked your credit reports lately?
Police first. At least you would have a complaint on file.

Identity theft is serious. Contact the IRS right away. That does not mean you will not be responsible for THEIR taxes too until its all cleared up.

Welcome to part of the underbelly of illegal immigrants who need a SS to work.

I would also contact all of your credit card companies.... if they have you SS# nothing is safe anymore

They are the ones who told me. They thought it was me who called in "my" change of address a couple of months back. It was actually [expletive-deleted's] new woman.

I don't have any credit cards.

They've had my SSN for three years now. My credit report is fine.

This isn't about aliens. It's an old tax debt from when we were together.

I just think it's illegal to tell the IRS that she's me.
