The GOP through HW wanted Israel to retreat from the occupied territories and stay within its 1948 border. The US is actually the only country on the planet now that doesn't want that... aside from Israel and Jewish controlled countries like Switzerland.

Does Israel have the right to exist? Yes. But when it goes outside its UN defined borders that would be a problem for any other country... except Israel... and that is a problem, because we pay for it.
