well i guess the partisan koolaid is here to stay.

it's amazing too, considering the election swings like the '06 Congressional, and the '08 Presidential here, as well as all the past partisan landslides that the populace seems to place it's faith in.

of course we can set our 'first 100 day' clocks via these very same sorts voted in promising change to compromise them, and the koolaid gets passed around yet again

so after a century of a sine wave economy (and it does all sorta start gaining momentum back at the dawn of centralized banking) we have a system that is so infiltrated by monied factions that we simply choose to ignore it being it's modus operandi

adding to the outright ordacity is how we, as a nation, pretend to be the end all nation of freedom lovers, yet completely miss that 800 pound gorilla of economic fascism being instituted in America

gee....despite a generation of middle class decline, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer addage just doesn't seem to sink in here, even now THAT YOUR PAYING FOR IT!

so now that we're all basically hostage to this country's elites, who have run it (and into the ground) behind lobbyists for a generation, we want to whine to those in charge to fix it, while they reward those failures?

good luck with that folks....

The premise of this thread "Obamanonmics" is flawed from the start.

Its just another ignorant partisan flame.

This obviously classist bail-out is no different than the classist bailouts that happened in the past.

More socialist safety nets for the superwealthy, Snidley Whiplash capitalism for the rest of us.

well yes Editec.

It just amazes me though, each time an administration takes office it's expected that their ideology can majically alter the deeply seated roots of the capitalist market

in fairness, we're sold that bill of bull every campaign

while in reality, our pols have about as much of a handle on the market's direction as a bullrider at the rodeo

then there's this absurd philosophy that, if we feed the bull really good, it'll grant us a smooth ride......

pols come and go, but the bull goes on and on....
