Horrible… Obama to Young People: “The Republicans Are Radical… Their Vision Is Radica

He must have believed that because his policies increased unemployment to over 10%
But he kept it under St Ronnie's 10.8% in spite of the CON$ervative desire to make it higher.

Reagan inherited that recession from Carter. Anyone who claims otherwise is simply a liar or an idiot. I'm willing to concede the later in your case.

That IS true.

The current POTUS will be dealing with whatever economy is developing into when he takes office.

It is no less true for Reagan than it is true for Bush II or Obama.

Youd have to be a completely blinded partisans to imagine otherwise.

And lords knows this place has plenty of those posting here.

Obama inherited a truly messed up economy.

And that economy wasn't messed up ENTIRELY by Bush II, but was the inevitable result of policies some of which are DECADES old.

Trying to make political hay out of that is something only very stupid people, or very dishonest people do.

Obama compounded the problem 10 fold. He has permanently increased the level of government spending and created vast new social programs the country can't afford. He uses the regulatory apparatus to relentlessly harass corporations.

Anyone who claims Obama is blameless for the current mess is a propagandist or an idiot.

Notice how CON$ always blame their failures on everyone else, then mock you if you don't swallow their bullshit. The Carter Recession was the shortest recession in history, beginning in January 1980 and ending July 1980, a full year before the Reagan Recession began.
