The left's utopia.

“You wake up, you go eat at Blanchet [House], get high, go eat at Blanchet for lunch, get high, go eat dinner, get high,” Wendy said. “That’s all you do, all day long, every day.”

A homeless woman in Portland revealed how easy the Oregon city makes it to subsist in that lifestyle.

A woman identified only as Wendy told an interviewer from the nonprofit We Heart Seattle, “It’s a piece of cake, really; that’s probably why you’ve got so many out here.”

She mentioned that certain organizations will provide free food to the city’s homeless residents, letting the homeless do what they want in between those meals.

Yep, no worry about getting caught with illicit drugs, since they've been decriminalized in Oregon. What's the motivation for these people to change? In Oregon, there isn't one.

If willing to give them what they want for their minimalist, low expectations' lifestyle, they will come in increasing numbers to enjoy your largesse. Your community generosity generates community misery and decline. How could people not know this?

The left are the ultimate enablers. You can see this throughout our society.

I left Portland in 1991 and it was getting weird. Now it's a shithole. Democrats.

Climate influences drug use/addiction and attracts snowbirds as does the historical nuance of the Northwest Coast. There were Conestoga wagons for the houseless that were being used in Eugene, Oregon, though for the historical record, ownership has not been clarified. There are Conestoga wagons now being used for the same purpose in Wisconsin, though the ownership question is likewise problematic.

Drug-related sloth will counteract the pride of ownership and the dignity of being responsible for oneself. Though vetted tiny home villages are an option for the future, they must be made exclusionary due to the mental constitution and history of each individual.

Oh, she forgot all the mindless copulating and then the abortions. Tons of fun!

And they wonder why some folks want to see the place nuked.

Low expectations can often be maintained from the powers that be. For instance, isn’t California (under Governor Newsom) paying people who live on the streets? Kids should always be given a chance and helped, but single adults addicted to drugs given money each month to “live on”. Are addicts in CA required to prove they are drug free? Haven’t checked yet. What if a homeless person has an opportunity to get a hand up and improve his or her life, would they hide this “hand up” offer in order to still receive the monthly check, or would they just forget about that hand up and continue to live on the streets since they receive free money for doing nothing?

No way!!
Where are the cigarette trees and the whisky lakes?
Sorry about that HEGO! Lol You’ll have to settle with pure appreciation of nature in viewing the vibrant color slices on display in the rock!

Hey, maybe we should start a side gig where we could charge people to camp out in abandoned cargo cars, no extra charge for cobwebs and dust. Instead of whiskey lakes we could offer whiskey puddles, but the cigg trees might prove to be a bit more complicated to rig lol
