WASHINGTON -- Hillary Clinton responded to intense scrutiny over her email practices on Wednesday, saying she has asked the State Department to make available her private email during her tenure as secretary of state.

"I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible," Clinton wrote in a tweet posted late Wednesday evening.

You understand that the issue is not acquiring the emails that were stored on the server - the government can already do that no matter what Hillary wants. The issue is that the information is not safeguarded both for transparency and security. By doing this, she is able to delete anything that she does not want the public to find out. Of course she says go ahead and look - she does not have the option AND she also has already had the chance to remove anything that she does not want the public to know. If she used official sources, the email is tracked, recorded and archived for later access should the need arise. The only real reason to use a personal email is for secrecy from the PUBLIC'S legitimate FOIA requests. An enemy has more access to the information but the American public has less (than on an official system).

It's funny in a macabre way to see some democrats still clinging to this sinking ship. Hillary had problems before this. Those were nothing but an appetizer. Democrats have more than claws out. Hillary Clinton for months has downplayed the FBI investigation into her private email server and practices as a mere “security inquiry.”

But when asked Wednesday by Fox News about Clinton's characterization of the bureau's probe, FBI Director James Comey said he doesn’t know what "security inquiry" means -- adding, “We’re conducting an investigation. … That’s what we do.”

The FBI director reiterated that he’s “not familiar with the term security inquiry” when told that is the phrase Clinton has used.

And when they're done with that they can also demand to see all of their personal emails.
