Hey, Morons. You Can't Make Money By Going Deeper Into Debt.

What is weird is no european nation is deep in debt because of universal healthcare but we're for having a profit based one.

Can you prove that.

You are saying Greece is not in debt or that they are not in debt because of universal health care ?

Why cut something that doesn't cause the debt in the first place? Why not cut the areas that cause the debt like reforming healthcare, stop the wars and increase revenue?

Cutting infrastructure, science, r&d and education would hurt our economy and make it even harder to pay the debt.
They could privatize healthcare, and cut our 160 worthless government agencies. It would be a start.
We've had privatized healthcare and still do. All it did was bankrupt Americans who had catastrophic medical bills.

Yeah...an average of something like 17 to 20 K. The cost of a good used sedan.

Pumpkin,
As far as I have seen the interaction between hospitals and insurance company has the following effects:
1) It nullifies all competition.
2) It creates a spiral of prices.
The only proper way in which private healthcare can work is if insurance works as an indivudual saving account. That way people will actually do shoping and search the hospitals that yield the best price / service.

The US remains the only developed country that doesn't have a public healthcare system. It also has the most expensive system. And I've heard any kind of excuses for this:
a) US citizens are fatter
b) They use more drugs
c) They have illegal immigrants.
d) Have the best healthcare in the world

But none of this explains that prices ar 2 or 3 times higher than other developed countries. It is so expensive , it is cheaper to have some of those procedures performed overseas ( a good option if you are uninsured).

Nationalized health care would limit costs. Under a national health care system, nobody could get away with raising the price of some drug by 1500%.

Yeah, the government does a wonderful job with that

Those deadbeats should pay for their own healthcare instead of looking for government freebies whenever they get a paper cut.

Crack that fuckin whip! Are you a French aristocrat from before the French Revolution who used a time machine to come here? Citizens aren't "deadbeats." And where would you be without them to do the tasks that you don't do.

LIberterian, idiot,

We're going in debt because of your wars and tax breaks.

Infrastructure, science, r&d or education never caused the debt. Period.
No, we're going into debt because of socialized healthcare, government programs for lazy people, and 160 worthless government agencies.
That's false. The debt is from 2 wars put on the credit card, a Medicare Plan D that was never funded, and a huge tax break for millionaires that was never funded.
The wars tax breaks would have been fine if we weren't funding worthless agencies, plus the tax break helps the economy.

It's not privatized, it's regulated by the government. If it were truly privatized, there would be many different choices for people, and it wouldn't be failing miserably.

leftist think borrowing - printing money when you are deep deep deep in debt is ok people other people take out loans that they can pay back over a short time.

They think it's the same thing, so explaining to them how it's not is like trying to teach a monkey to hunt bears.
You've just stated Trump's economic policy..."I'm the king of debt, I love debt" and "This is the United States government. First of all, you never have to default because you print the money".

OK, you're an idiot who spouts 15 year old Republican talking points that have been long-disproven.

Leftist, rightist, the boat didn't get to the debt harbor without one Dem and one repub on the oars propelling the ship of state...

Boy, is election going to be fun.

We have conventional and unconventional.

The question is....will people put aside the crap and decide for one or the other....regardless of past statements.

The senate goes dem.

The house stays GOP.

Thank heavens.

Oh sure, they tell us nothing.

You can't go for less than zero, but the other end is not capped.

Meanin the median is probably below that.

This means you have people filing for bankruptcy for less than 17 K. Probably some around 10K.

That is just catastrophic.

Clearly the Democrat economic policy of ensuring businesses have less money encourages them to hire more. Let's talk about all the logic that dictates that... oh wait.

Tax breaks only help the wealthy. To the average person, they are meaningless. For example, let's say the U.S. taxed the average person $200.00 dollars more a year for universal health care. That comes out to about $4.00 less in your pocket each week. Which nobody would really notice. And if it really bothered them, all they have to do is ask their boss for a $4.00 a week raise.

Interesting. Your response is just dripping with aristocratic "thinking." That's right. Feed of the desperation of the poor. Like a fucking vampire! Tell me more of your "superiority."

Do you know what some if the things are that business do with more money? They give executives bonuses, They contribute to politicians that will give them even more money. They invest in foreign companies and hide money in foreign banks or fake foreign companies. They go to Las Vegas and use $10,000 dollar chips instead of $10 or $100 dollar chips. Etc. etc. etc.
