#Heterosexual Pride Day

We need to find a month lacking in holidays and make that for Straight Pride.

Tattoos and piercings are not a show of simulated sexual acts.
And Bonzi, I very much want the world to quit harming lgbt's simply because of their sexual preferences. I do believe there is a biological component for many. But if they truly want acceptance of what goes on in their bedrooms, they should keep it there. And I have expressed that to my gay friends. Most agree, some don't, and we have agreed to disagree.
Common decency so parents don't have to worry about whether they can take their kids anywhere during gay pride month would go a long way with those that want to accept them, but are offended by the public displays.

We've even discussed their having conventions where they can express themselves amongst themselves, rather than walking down main street.
It is one thing to stand together. It is another to flaunt it through attire, or lack thereof. I honestly believe that many would be more accepting of lgbt's if it weren't for parade attire and behavior such as this occurring-

Celebrating pride isn't about advertising your group, it's about showing others in that group they're not alone. With straights, they are obviously not alone, marginalized or arbitrarily oppressed.

How is this any different from plastering yourself with tattoos and piercings?
This is a temporary thing also, it's a way for them to say "You are not going to put us in a closet anymore". They feel they have a right to live as they want and do as they want in the Land Of The Free.

... is this offensive? Why or why not?

If people are serious about being proud of there sexual orientation, I see no issue with it.
The issue many may have is with "intent" -

Is this done with the intent to "mock" the gay community?
Or, is it really done out of pride for the straight community?
If the heterosexual has been repressed for centuries, murdered because of sexual orientation or been an outcast from society, then sure..Throw in some love of Jesus and the day is complete..

So you have to be repressed etc. to be proud?

It sure helps..

Only crybabies would find a straight pride parade offensive. It sounds like fun. Let's all celebrate with our straight brothers and sisters!
In Santa suits

I feel like a sking event would be more apt. Straight people are well known for their chaste and demure behavior in public so all the layers of clothes seems rather fitting. lol

Sure

Haven't you heard of Chinese Pride day?

Japanese Pride Day?

Irish Pride Day, (left over from the Revolutionary war?)

German Pride Day, (from after we deleted the Axis)
and SOOOO many others

(Blacks lucked out, they got a whole month)

Because straight people are decent and modest. We keep it in the bedroom and don't make obscene sexual displays in front of children. I'm hoping that gayness becomes so normalized that people start telling THEM to get a room.

Oh really? Porn is one of the biggest industries in the country, and only a small part of it is gay. Don't tell me strait people aren't twisted.
I don't know anything about porn, but even I know that gay porn is extremely common, and may even be larger than regular porn. The only reason I know this is because one time, long ago, a friend dragged me into an adult bookstore and I looked at their peep show, which required a quarter and then you had your choice of channels, and the vast majority of it was men on men.
You are right...you don't know anything about porn.
Neither do I. Only in the whacked out, demonic Leftisphere is this a liability.

National Hispanic Heritage Month is the period from September 15 to October 15 in the United States, when people recognize the contributions of Hispanic and LatinoAmericans to the United States and celebrate the group's heritage and culture.
