... is this offensive? Why or why not?

If people are serious about being proud of there sexual orientation, I see no issue with it.
The issue many may have is with "intent" -

Is this done with the intent to "mock" the gay community?
Or, is it really done out of pride for the straight community?

Go right ahead. I hope it isn't hetero men being proud of 1 in 4 girls being sexually abused before they reach 18.

What do you think the INTENT of this hashtag is?

[Insert Cause] Pride Day of any kind is ridiculous. Be proud of who you are every day and leave it at that. No need to go marching through the streets.

Celebrating pride isn't about advertising your group, it's about showing others in that group they're not alone. With straights, they are obviously not alone, marginalized or arbitrarily oppressed.

Because straight people are decent and modest. We keep it in the bedroom and don't make obscene sexual displays in front of children. I'm hoping that gayness becomes so normalized that people start telling THEM to get a room.

I think its foolish either way.
People are so fuckin divided, that I guess they feel like they have no choice..

The left have created division where there was none before.

Oh really? Porn is one of the biggest industries in the country, and only a small part of it is gay. Don't tell me strait people aren't twisted.

Twatacious, we're not talking about porn, we're talking about lewd conduct in public.

The older I get, the more I come to realize that the heterosexual relationships between males and females are far more important than most people realize or understand. I think you have to be a devout Catholic to truly understand the full extent of it, because in the Catholic religion, marriage is a sacrament that cannot be undone by man. Once a man and a woman are joined in marriage, they are literally one flesh, this is not symbolic, it is the literal truth. The Catholic Church, under pressure from the world, has watered down this teaching, and made annulments far too easy to obtain. But the truth remains intact, a marriage is a bond that can only be broken by death. When the Catholic Church returns to this fundamental truth, it will have gone a long way towards reasserting itself as relevant in the modern world, which respects nothing.

Like the 60's we are going through a movement of change.
All this started in the 60's
Right or wrong - bad or good.....

It is one thing to stand together. It is another to flaunt it through attire, or lack thereof. I honestly believe that many would be more accepting of lgbt's if it weren't for parade attire and behavior such as this occurring-
