Hello from Arkansas

My best buddy from High School, who we joined the Army together, lives in Bella Vista. I have been there many times.

I like it.
It's about twenty miles from where I live now..Depends if you use the backroads or them cement roads..

Or five hours if you try driving on that stupid Interstate with all the traffic and construction.

No thanks..

I was up there last October. I told my buddy that I was not coming back up until they completed the work on the Interstate, which I figure will be 2063.

Do they play football there?

They eat, breathe, drink, and dream about football in Arkansas. Especially in high school. That's all they have to do there besides fish and raise chickens.
Texas is worse about high school football. It's more popular than pro or college ball

They are. I've seen high school kids out on the field playing football around midnight.
They have three a day practice in the summer..

Suppose to be 2020 but yeah...Then they would be out of a job and that won't happen...I grew up in OKC and they started working on the interstate in the early 1970's and are still working on them in the OKC area...

Welcome to the internet, so when did they get electricity in Arkansas? You'd think CNN would have said something.

I do remember that there were some houses as late as 1979 that still had no electricity in the SW part. That reminds me of a song though. God, we were stupid when we were young.

Use to be, they would be playing high school ball til they were 25 or 30. Boosters would pay them to stay in high school rather than go to college. They would play 8 or 10 years if not more.

I'll try to not raise too much hell, just keep me away from all trump topics. :eusa_whistle:
