I certainly hope not. You're right - it's nowhere near the original with Jack Lord & company. I sometimes catch a couple minutes of it, but I sure don't like it enough to bother watching it on a weekly basis.

I have watched neither the original series nor the remake. The original was a bit before my time, the remake didn't look interesting enough for me to try. It certainly didn't appear worthy of being the most watched series from the previews I've seen, but maybe if I gave it a shot I'd change my opinion.
