I'm not saying the bad shootings are justified but rather that the disproportionate violent crime associated with one small (2.6%) section of our population may contribute to edgy cops. You are correct that poverty is also a factor and I'd go a step further to say only a fraction of black males engage in violent crime. Nonetheless a cop on the street has to make split second decisions regarding the intent of suspects with whom they are interacting. I know the problem exists and I know who is responsible for the continuation .. The Democratic Party and African Americans that are slaves to government entitlements.
