greenhouse gas measurements keep rising

Not only does this AVAILABLE tech fix solve your imaginary CO2 crisis --- but it also allows you to

1) Close every coal fired plant in the country.
2) Tear down the dams and free the salmon.
3) Save TENS of billions on subsidies for useless gimmicks and mining.
4) Charge all the silly EVs you want with truly zero emissions.

What the fuck you waiting on clown? Get crackin'...

Nuclear, while a neccessary component of the solution, is very spendy. Make it the primary source of electricity, and see the rate triple.

CO2 lags heat, which means you need heat to create CO2. Further, CO2 is not the biggest greenhouse gas. Water vapour is, and it is much much greater, and it too requires heat.

So, where is this heat generation coming from? Man? Nope, try the SUN. This is all basic science 101 material.

how much proof do deniers need???

Greenhouse gas volumes reached new high in 2012 - WMO
"For all these major greenhouse gases the concentrations are reaching once again record levels," WMO Secretary-General Michel Jarraud told a news conference in Geneva at which he presented the U.N. climate agency's annual Greenhouse Gas Bulletin .

"This year is worse than last year, 2011. 2011 was worse than 2010," he said. "Every passing year makes the situation somewhat more difficult to handle, it makes it more challenging to stay under this symbolic 2 degree global average."

discuss...

Number of lab experiments showing a temperature increase from a 120ppm increase in CO2 = 0

why you deniers want to "push it"?
Greenhouse gas volumes reached new high in 2012 - WMO
The WMO bulletin said the volume of carbon dioxide, or CO2, the primary greenhouse gas emitted by human activities, grew faster in 2012 than in the previous decade, reaching 393.1 parts per million (ppm), 41 percent above the pre-industrial level.

The amount of the gas in the atmosphere grew by 2.2 ppm, higher the average of 2.02 ppm over the past 10 years.

^ denier!

(LOL)

Welcome

You'll soon meet the rest of the entire AGWCult

What would drive someone to be a denier given 94-96% of scientists are non-cons AKA Progressives AKA problem solvers :dunno:

humans ALWAYS make mistakes sometime or other, and when it involves nuclear, there is a cascading, critical, chain reaction. I know McCain is pushing it but we can't even agree on where to put the spent fuel. What state you reside in BTW :eusa_think: The Nevadans don't even want the stuff.

I'll look into the CNN special.

Your getting more radiation standing in front of a marble statue than you will get living near a nuclear plant. Do you fly? Know what your radiation dose is up there?

I'm not concerned about ambient b/g rad from a plant. I'm concerned about a meltdown. Newer doesn't always = better plus, you got to factor in that humans make mistakes. That is one of the characteristics that make us human.

Reality...Carbon based fuels are not going away for a long time. The Chicken Little crowd expects America to cripple it's economy to reduce emissions as China and India increase their emissions. An argument that just is not going to win over people who rely on cheap power.to live their daily lives. While it is prudent to explore other options it serves no good to demonize coal and gas. The other options have their environmental costs as well. There is no such thing as clean energy in any form.
The planet will survive and so will humanity regardless of any change in the atmosphere. In 6 Billion years when the Sun burns up the last of its Hydrogen then we will see the real warming begin as it turns into a red giant and consumes the Earth.

If worried about your carbon footprint...log off, throw out the comforts of life you take for granted, and go live in a cave. When you do, don't start a fire as you are again burning carbons.

Gosh, why didn't anyone ever think of these things before?

Lordy, lordy, the more they come, the dumber they get. Here, learn something;

The Carbon Dioxide Greenhouse Effect

For 100 billion dollars we could develop a fusion reactor 2-3 times the size of the one in France. This would be more then enough to make damn sure it works.

Another 500 billion to deploy 5-8 full size reactors.

Want to talk about moving away from CO2? Here is your solution. Right now wind and solar doesn't even start.

theres one small "catch" though. One mistake, ONE, & you have a 10,000 year problem.

Oh!. Nice personal insult.

No, you have a 25 year problem. After 25 years the dangerous ionizing radiation is gone and you are left with the low level Beta and Alpha emitters that can be blocked with a sheet of paper.

Really, take a science class. You know just enough to get in trouble, but not enough to get out.
