Its s sad day when a congressman doing his job is so controversial.
Putting out partisan fantasy budgets is his job?
What ever happened to working with the other side of the aisle?
I like the Reagan quotes in your signature. But as for how to best balance the budget, I thinkPaul Ryan has put a balanced budget on the table, and now he will stand behind it and take questions and punches and kicks to the groin.
Finally, a Republican with some balls.

ryan has clearly said the Tax raises made it easier to blanece the budget.
So why not add more tax increases?
He also said right on TV that the tax cuts made his budget easier to balence.
The right is dumb as a box of rocks
Watching this one go through committee is going to be a friggin' hoot.
Taking away safety nets. We call that, "Choice, they like that."
Taking away federal funding to states. We call that, "Giving them Responsibility, they want that."
Giving all the money to the rich. Well, they actually don't want that but they will do their civic duty and take it anyway.

we need to cut tax loop holes, grow jobs, improve the education and judicial systems so that every citizen has a fair opportunity to prosper, punish crime and drug users by hiring more police, and encouraging pride in doing an honest days worth of labor by having every American, both rich and poor, spend a year in civic service prior to going to on to higher education or doing career work.

The history of this country contains GREAT decades where things ran GREAT while the top tax tier was 90%.
Lying about facts doesnt erase them
Ryan has put a plan on the table which has drastic changes to entitlements. Changes the Democrats do not want.
This will force the Democrats to put a plan on the table which has entitlement reforms of a different nature in it.
And that is the goal. To finally get entitlement reform front and center. Something needs to be done, and it is time to stop dicking around.
Ryan is putting the Democrats' feet to the fire, and has set the tone instead of them.

That flew out the window when Obama proclaimed I WON during a metting with congressional leaders.
And in order to work with the opposite side you need a counterpart with a functioning brain that puts the country first.
