The ban on alcohol sponsorship of sports events is moving closer.

A clause which would bring it into effect is being included in new legislation being published next month

I wish government would ban erectile disfunction commercials in sports programming. Awkward.

And also animal abuse commercials that are 2 minutes long and portray sick and dying pets with watery eyes.

And also those awkward new domestic abuse commercials featuring choked up former athletes.

And also those damned insurance commercials. Put that stupid lizard and Flo from Progressive out to pasture where they can both snatch flies with their reptilian tongues.

The only thing worse than commercials is watching a game with a drunk friend who fast forwards the game with his clumsy fingers through a quarter and a half of a football game. You see the score and the suspense is ruined.
