Governor Chris Christie to Navy SEAL veteran: "STFU idiot".

What's the point. The guy was interrupting him and he told him to shut up - exactly what he should have said. That's the reason that I like Christie, he does not go around trying to edit every damn thing he says and does so that he looks good as an empty meaningless suit. Act like an idiot and he calls you on it. We should expect nothing less. Instead, we expect constant perfection and continual PC from every politician without realizing that is one of the reasons that we have such useless people running for office.

The navy seal things means nothing by the way. Just because he was a seal does not mean he is beyond reproach.

Hmmm, let's decipher what you just claimed. You said you like Christie because, "Act like an idiot and he (Christie) calls you on it". ok, in other words... Act like an idiot and he (Christie) calls you on it by acting like a bigger idiot. I see your point now. Thank you.

I've asked you repeatedly for your link proving Christie said 'STFU Idiot.' Please provide the link or... STFU IDIOT! :)

Here's your link...

That is a direct answer to your question. Armies by definition, terrorize their opposition......that does not make them terrorists

John Kerry never testified that he witnessed incidents of US Soldiers terrorizing people. He only recounted documented war crimes. If you want to call that terrorism, that is your right.....John Kerry never did

Nah, you're just desperately spinning again. You're trying to speak in vague generalities. But John Kerry recounted specific examples of individual incidents involving U.S. Soldiers 'Terrorizing' people. Now if a Republican had made the same claims, you know you would have a completely different spin on it. That's why i always say you're a very disingenuous person. You really do need to work on that.

John Kerry spoke of how it feels for a family to have foreign soldiers speaking a strange language barging into your house in the middle of the night

Would that terrorize your family? Sure would
Does that make the soldiers terrorists? Nope

Once again you demonstrate no concept of what terrorism is

If it doesn't make them Terrorists, what does it make them? He used the term 'Terrorize.'

What does the veteran or non-veteran status have to do with this? Are the opinions of veterans somehow more important than those of non-veterans? Nothing, and no.

The guy was rude, got slapped down by Christie, and escorted out for disturbing the peace. He could be a four star general, winner of the bronze star, and be next ion line for Sec Def... or a guy who makes $3.50 an hour at the grocers... he was treated exactly the way he should have been treated.

And he did not say "STFU Idiot." The poster who started this thread has lied. He still hasn't provided the link proving Christie said that.

The guy in the audience was rude so no surprise that Christie threw that back in his face.

While I appreciate Christie's candor and his speaking his mind regardless of what others think, personally I believe his message would have be 'louder' had he waited until the interrupter was done then quietly said 'are you finished?', with an obvious look of annoyance on his face, then responded in a more civil manner. As it is his response makes him look like nothing but a big bully.

Should Christie speak his mind? Absolutely. Should he stoop to lower standards to do it? Nope.

Christie was being smart - he was letting dude come off like the jackass he is, why interrupt him??

Sometimes you just have to let people beat themselves...

Then you can scold them...

Christie lowered himself to the interrupter's level when he got all pissy and called him an idiot. That makes Christie appear small . . . figuratively speaking.

He's not without charm. He's totally likable. Clinton use to have the same sort of mean streak but he tamped it down, effectively.

Time will tell if Christie can do the same thing. He was, however, correct in not entering the Presidential race. Given a little more seasoning..he could be a formitable challenge in 2016. He's fiscally conservative and socially moderate.

He's fiscally conservative and socially moderate and a fat fuck! :eusa_whistle:

Hey dipshit, you still haven't provided that link proving Christie said "STFU Idiot." Time to put up or...STFU.

How to keep an idiot in suspense...

Link proving Christie said 'STFU Idiot.' I'll wait.

How to keep a dittohead in suspense...

Right, so you're a lying doucher. You know, misquoting and outright lying like this is a very serious breach of Message Board ethics. It will not be taken very kindly by all those who respect Message Board ethics & etiquette. So i'll give you one more chance to provide your link proving Christie said "STFU Idiot." I'll wait.

Ok, just give me a minute more...

No, it doesn't make them terrorists any more than any other soldier doing his job. Scaring people doesn't make you a terrorist

Killing and maiming indiscriminately.....does

You mean war crimes. These were well documented in Vietnam

It is you who are calling them terrorists....Kerry never did

Can you link anything that proves that Gov. Christie knew he was a veteran before they had their confrontation?

Thanks in advance.

Really? Does it make any difference if Christie knew or not beforehand? Rude is rude my friend and the fact that Christie's very rude behavior was demonstrated is at the forefront here.Christie should treat all citizens alike regardless.

if it doesnt matter.....then why did you make sure we all knew he was a Vet?.....

Navy SEAL Confronts Christie, Security Boots Him

Former Navy SEAL booted from Gov. Christie town hall after heated exchange

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP — The most-heated town hall clash of the year started today with a shouting match, drove Gov. Chris Christie to call a vocal opponent to the proposed Rutgers Camden-Rowan merger an "idiot," and ended with a stern talking-to by police.

Just four questions in, Christie called on William Brown, a 34-year-old law school student and veteran from Mt. Laurel, who explained, calmly at first: "I know that all my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from respect that fact that I go to Rutgers. It’s also true that none of my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from have ever heard of Rowan."

Brown, a Democrat who ran an unsuccessfully for Assembly last year, says he’s a Navy Seal who served in Iraq. As he testified before the Rutgers Board of Governors last month, he argued the Christie-sanctioned plan to rebrand the South Jersey campus under the Rowan name would rob students of opportunities afforded by Rutgers’ reputation. The Republican governor began to explain that current students would still graduate with degrees from Rutgers.

But Brown shouted from audience: "What about my son? What about my neighbors? What about my friends?"

You just said 'Killing and maiming indiscriminately' does make them a Terrorist. Your spin is making me dizzy now. Your guy Kerry used the term 'Terrorize', so it looks like your anger should be directed at him instead of the people who called him out on it. But that's just my opinion anyway. I know it wont change your mind though. So enjoy your Saturday. Take care. :)

I don't give a fuck if he's a Medal of Honor recipient

I would have told him to Shut The Fuck Up as well, asswipe.

You have so much reverence for Navy Seals and those who've served - fucking enlist, douche kit.

Yeah, don't get too worked up over this. The poster who started this thread is a lying doucher. Christie did not say "STFU Idiot." The man was being rude and kept interrupting. In response, Christie merely delivered a mild slap-down.

Exactly! And the point being that that rude fat fuck Christie doesn't give a crap either.

Obama would have known he was a "corpse man" don't you think??? Our great leader knows all. Except how to pronounce corpsman...

This whole thread is stupid. The point isn't whether he was a seal, it's whether he was rude. He was. And if libs would have let off a liberal politician for far more. They would.

It is you who are calling them terrorists....Kerry never did

Right, saying that US soldiers "terrorized" Iraqis doesn't mean that Kerry called them "terrorists." Seriously, you need to buy a dictionary. Your knowledge of the English language is dreadful.
