Governor Chris Christie to Navy SEAL veteran: "STFU idiot".

His claims included Soldiers 'Killing and maiming indiscriminately.'

You mean war crimes. These were well documented in Vietnam

It is you who are calling them terrorists....Kerry never did

You just said 'Killing and maiming indiscriminately' does make them a Terrorist. Your spin is making me dizzy now. Your guy Kerry used the term 'Terrorize', so it looks like your anger should be directed at him instead of the people who called him out on it. But that's just my opinion anyway. I know it wont change your mind though. So enjoy your Saturday. Take care. :)

Armies by their very nature invoke terror

It is you who are now calling them terrorists....not John Kerry

Governor Chris Christie to

New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie is well known for his extroverted personality and outspoken nature. But his often confrontational approach that kept his name in presidential primary talks for months ended in a shouting match today with a student who is a also a former Navy Seal.

Fox News reports that during Friday morning's town hall press conference, Christie called on 34-year-old law student William Brown. The two got into a debate over a plan to rename Rutgers University, Rutgers Camden-Rowan. Brown, who is active in Democratic Party politics, says the merger and name change would negatively affect the university's reputation.

After Christie says that Brown and his fellow classmates who are already enrolled at the university will still receive a Rutgers diploma, Brown interrupts him, shouting back, "What about my son? What about my neighbors? What about my friends?"

Christie then appears to lose his temper, saying, "If you decide what you want to do is put on a show today, let me tell you, I can go back and forth with you as much as you want. And let me tell you something; after you graduate from law school, you conduct yourself like that in a courtroom, your rear end's going to get thrown in jail, idiot."

Christie then tried to explain his behavior to the receptive audience, saying, "I tried to be patient with the guy. Every time I tried to answer, he's like, yelling over me again." And he received applause for what may turn out to be a regrettable follow-up quip, when he said, "I mean, damn man, I'm governor, could you shut up for a second?"

First of all, Christie was right and I'm glad he let that loud mouth have it.

As far as whether he knew the guy was a veteran is a non-issue. Being an ex SEAL does not innoculate anyone from criticism, especially when they deserve it.

The guy would be a poor lawyer since he can't allow others to speak and insists on rudely interrupting. A judge would find him in contempt and throw his rear end in jail.

Is the left so desperate now that they'll attack the other side for speaking the truth? The loud mouth reporters who refuse to allow people to finish what they are saying are unprofessional and extremely irritating. After taking that kind of lip service for so long, many of us would snap back. Christie was far less rude than the guy, though doesn't get automatically excused for everything because he's on the wrong side.

btw "rude, fat-fuck is the reason the tea-bagger" like you stated in your post makes Christie look like a little old church lady. And you are calling him up on rude behavior?? You even got personal and attacked his looks. Wow, that is low.

Just because the guy was ex-military doesn't mean he wasn't being a douche bag.

Really to get all worked up over the name of a school?

In other words, you're lying, he never said "STFU" or anything as such. The guy did interrupt him, which is typical of what lefties do in arguements since they cannot allow people with common sense to speak freely.

The fact that he is a veteran has zilch to do with anything.

Wow... you mean like when you tea party assholes disrupted and shouted out town hall meetings that members of the house held for their constituents? Oh... I bet that was fucking different then... right?

Because "Conservatives" should be allowed to boisterous dickheads and Liberals should all go hug a tree and remain silent about the issues they believe in.... You assholes disgust me... you feel so fucking ENTITLED that you think your opinion and agenda is the only thing that matters.

You know... I don't hate anyone...I'm generally a very tolerant person, but you fuckers make my blood boil sometimes with your absolute-ism and your revisionist history.... or in this case, your convenient forgetting of history.

Speaking of "Whining Bitches," where/when did you serve?

I think Rightwinger is attached. Sorry.

What does the veteran or non-veteran status have to do with this? Are the opinions of veterans somehow more important than those of non-veterans? Nothing, and no.

The guy was rude, got slapped down by Christie, and escorted out for disturbing the peace. He could be a four star general, winner of the bronze star, and be next ion line for Sec Def... or a guy who makes $3.50 an hour at the grocers... he was treated exactly the way he should have been treated.

And he did not say "STFU Idiot." The poster who started this thread has lied. He still hasn't provided the link proving Christie said that.

of course he lied, it's what he does. And of course there is no link, since Christie never said that.

Opinions are not worth more, or less based on service, past or present, in the armed forces.

Really? Does it make any difference if Christie knew or not beforehand? Rude is rude my friend and the fact that Christie's very rude behavior was demonstrated is at the forefront here.Christie should treat all citizens alike regardless.

if it doesnt matter.....then why did you make sure we all knew he was a Vet?.....

Navy SEAL Confronts Christie, Security Boots Him

Former Navy SEAL booted from Gov. Christie town hall after heated exchange

Published: Thursday, March 08, 2012, 7:37 PM Updated: Friday, March 09, 2012, 6:49 AM

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP — The most-heated town hall clash of the year started today with a shouting match, drove Gov. Chris Christie to call a vocal opponent to the proposed Rutgers Camden-Rowan merger an "idiot," and ended with a stern talking-to by police.

Just four questions in, Christie called on William Brown, a 34-year-old law school student and veteran from Mt. Laurel, who explained, calmly at first: "I know that all my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from respect that fact that I go to Rutgers. It’s also true that none of my friends in the military no matter what state they’re from have ever heard of Rowan."

Brown, a Democrat who ran an unsuccessfully for Assembly last year, says he’s a Navy Seal who served in Iraq. As he testified before the Rutgers Board of Governors last month, he argued the Christie-sanctioned plan to rebrand the South Jersey campus under the Rowan name would rob students of opportunities afforded by Rutgers’ reputation. The Republican governor began to explain that current students would still graduate with degrees from Rutgers.

But Brown shouted from audience: "What about my son? What about my neighbors? What about my friends?"

did Fox news title your thread,or did you?.....
