Actually you made one mistake and it's Key. The Majority of Scientists agree on Climate change. The have been running away from the Term Warming for some time.

As did the odd removal of several key Monitoring stations (all from Generally cold Areas) and a tendency to locate new Stations inside Urban Heat Island Areas.

hell there is one in my town, and in a small northern Michigan town, the managed to put the thing 8 feet from the Busiest intersection for 150 Miles in any Direction.

It reminds me of a few winters back when the NE US had major snow storms. Conservatives were gloating like they had actually proved some kind of point. I guess somebody forgot to tell them that snow is not unusual during the wintertime.

It reminds me of a few winters back when the NE US had major snow storms. Conservatives were gloating like they had actually proved some kind of point. I guess somebody forgot to tell them that snow is not unusual during the wintertime.

I remember that time as well, and I don't recall myself gloating about them "being wrong" I did however point out that what it proved was that they are not as sure as they act about what is actually happening.

I am not sure why Liberals place such blind faith in scientists. The History of Science is one of being DEAD wrong on many things, right up until the point that they finally got it right. When I was 9 I had nightmares after watching a special on TV that told of the inevitable coming ice Age brought on by Human Activity, now were all going to fry.

The only thing I am sure of is this, many so called Deniers are indeed idiots, but also many believers are as well. My guess would be we as a species have less effect, and ability to Effect, than the Alarmist give us credit for, and more than the Deniers do.

They don't call it global warming anymore. Now it's man made climate change.

You see climate changes all the time and now the would be regulators of all things carbon can claim that if the climate is not at a steady state then they must act to control the people so as to keep climate at a constant predictable state.

Yeah we all know that's impossible but the effort to brainwash future generations that the earth will be turned into an inhospitable rock unless we are controlled by government continues unabated and will eventually be successful.

Hopefully I'll be dead before the yoke of government control closes for good on the necks of the people.

The reason they went with 'change' instead of 'warming', is so that no matter what way things go, they can be correct. if it gets warmer, they can say 'see? the climate changed, just like we said.' If it gets colder, they can say 'see? the climate changed, just like we said.'

That way, the funding keeps rolling in, regardless of what actually happens.

The climate "deniers" are winning.........in spectacular fashion I might add. Green energy? Failing.......on an almost daily basis. Legislatioin to curb carbon emmissions? Dead. In other words, the public doesnt give a rats ass about the "consensus" science..........in fact, in a recent Pew poll, it was ranked DEAD LAST out of 22 of the most significant concerns of the people.

The majority recognizes that there is a clear agenda with the climate k00ks, thus, see it as a scam. Electric cars? Nobody cares. WIndmills and solar are seen as a bonifide joke in 2012........a new company failing on a weekly basis. The 2011 UN estimate of 76 trillion for the world to go green iced it for the growing contingent of climate skeptics. The recent climate conference in Durbin Africa? Nobody showed up and the US didnt even send a representative!!

And how many times did Obama talk about climte change in his SOTU speech? ZERO
