Genital Mutilation Now a Reality in America: Coming soon to your Neighborhood

First off FGM is not used to increase pleasure in a little girl. Why exactly is any person concerned with increasing pleasure in a a little girl 3-5 years old or a baby? IF FGM is so awesome, and is done to increase pleasure, then it should be voluntary, and not be done until one reaches the age of 18.

But you lie...

Everything I have read about FGM states that it is for PRECISELY THE OPPOSITE of what you say. FGM REMOVES the Clitoris. Again, why would you do this to a little girl? A baby? They don't even know what sex is yet.

What is female genital mutilation (FGM)?
Female genital mutilation is defined as the removal of part or all of the female genitalia for nonmedical reasons. It is also called female circumcision and cutting. The procedure is most often done to girls between birth and age 15.

What are the consequences of FGM?
Often carried out under primitive and unsanitary conditions without anesthetic, FGM can cause severe pain, bleeding, and swelling that may prevent passing urine or feces. In the long term, it leads to chronic pelvic infections, urinary tract infections, and birth complications for mothers and children. The horror of the event — including being physically restrained against their will — affects many women for years. There are no health benefits from the procedure, which is not medically necessary or condoned by the World Health Organization, most governments, and reputable medical associations.

Where is FGM practiced?
FGM is practiced in 30 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, but Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Sudan account for about 42 percent of all cases. Migrants have carried the traditional practice with them to other countries in Europe and the Americas.

Muslims do NOT do FGM.

Muslim may sometime do a slit in the prepuce, but that is NOT FGM.
And of course it is not done for the little girl's sexual advantage, but that of the adult she will turn into.

There is no Muslim tradition or religious source saying to remove ANYTHING from females, and only the glans from males.
FGM is NOT done the Mideast, such as Egypt.
Your sources are blatant lies.

Again, I am going to post this. FGM is practiced exclusively in Muslim Countries, by Muslims.

You can post lies as often as you like, but they are still lies.
Muslims do NOT believe in FGM.
The most they believe in is male circumcision and a slight slit in the prepuce, or hood over the clitoris.
On many women the prepuce is so think and long that it prevents any clitoral stimulation.

FGM is not common in the Mideast, and is against Islam.

allah lies and commands all those who follow him to lie if it advances the cause of Islam.

Types of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting
Female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) refers to a variety of operations involving partial or total removal of female external genitalia. The female external genital organ consists of the vulva, which is comprised of the labia majora, labia minora, and the clitoris covered by its hood in front of the urinary and vaginal openings.

In 2007, the World Health Organization classified FGM/C into four broad categories:

Type 1 or Clitoridectomy: Partial or total removal of the clitoris and/or the clitoral hood.

Type 2 or Excision: Partial or total removal of the clitoris and the labia minora, with or without excision of the labia majora.

Type 3 or Infibulation: Narrowing of the vaginal orifice with creation of a covering seal by cutting and placing together the labia minora and/or the labia majora, with or without excision of the clitoris.

Type 4 or Unclassified: All other harmful procedures to the female genitalia for nonmedical purposes, for example, pricking, piercing, incising, scraping, and cauterization.

Note: Current questionnaires used in the Demographic and Health Surveys and the Multiple Cluster Indicator Surveys do not differentiate between Types I and II, but only between whether a girl or woman has been cut, whether tissue has been removed, and whether tissue has been sewn closed.

Mohammad never even remotely suggest or approved of the removal of the clitoris.
In that Hadith passage that Muslims cite, and which i posted in this thread, Mohammed clearly said it is allowed, and then clearly showed someone the best way to do it. That's both suggestion and approval. So it appears it is you who is the liar.

You gave no information at all.
You copied someone else's lie,
Which is yet another shameless lie, as I presented:

1) a verse form the Hadith
2) an article showing that the clerical class of Somalia is engaging in an effort to convince Somalian the practice is not Islamic
3) another article clearly detailing the performance of the practice in the middle East and in Asia, in direct opposition to your false claim to the contrary.

And you lie when you claim I changed anything.
You clearly did, as any poster can see for himself. You first said the practice did not occur outside of Africa. When shown that was false, you changed lanes (without acknowledgment) to saying it was not "acceptable" outside of Africa.

You're not going to to squirm out of your quackery and bullshit. These are a facts that anyone can see in black and white right here in this thread.

Somalis do what they want to do for themselves, not for Islam
100% incorrect. They do it for islam, and they say so. That is why the clerical class in Somalia is trying so hard to convince them that Islam does not demand this practice . I posted conclusive evidence of this. So you are embarrassing yourself, at this point.

And I don't want to hear your pathetic apologism about"a minority of Africans". In Somalia, 98% of the females have been mutilated. If that is going to be addressed honestly, then their religion has to be part of the discussion. And if you can't work up the stones to do that, thenyou should get out of the way of the discussion.

FGM predates Islam, and specifically Mohammad was against it.
The only thing acceptible under Islam is a slight slit of the prepuce, and only then if it is really useful.

Sure Muhammad was against it. Like he was against Marrying and raping a 9 year old girl.
You can’t even show me a quote from Muhammad where he is against it, because Muhammad was illiterate.

All this is done in Muslim countries:

Prevalence of FGM. It is estimated that more than 200 million girls and women alive today have undergone female genital mutilation in the countries where the practice is concentrated. Furthermore, there are an estimated 3 million girls at risk of undergoing female genital mutilation every year.

Female genital mutilation (FGM)

and specifically Mohammad was against it.
Shameless lie.

And prayer predates Islam. That doesn't mean praying Muslims aren't doing it for islam and drawing their reasons for doing it from Islam. So that is a red herring .

There is no verse in the Quran suggesting FGM at all, and the Hadith says it should be as little as possible.

{...
We do not know of any hadeeth in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered that his wives or daughters be circumcised, but it is narrated that he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised a woman who did circumcision in Madeenah as to the proper way of circumcision. It was narrated by Abu Dawood (5271), al-Tabaraani in al-Awsat, and al-Bayhaqi in al-Shu’ab from Umm ‘Atiyyah al-Ansaariyyah that a woman used to do circumcision in Madeenah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: “Do not go to the extreme in cutting; that is better for the woman and more liked by the husband.” This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

According to another report: “Take only a little and do not go to extremes.”
...}

Qur'an, Hadith and Scholars:Female Genital Mutilation - WikiIslam

This is still open to interpretation, but it likely it only referred to some women who have excessive labia.

And your point #2 suggests that Muslim clerics are trying to tell people that FGM is not Islamic.

However you are right that I was of the opinion that FGM was only in Africa, and it does seem to appear both in the Mideast and Asia. However, it still is not Islamic, predates Mohammad, and that Mohammad was against it.
I was not aware that FGM was as wide spread as it seems to be from reading the details more recently.

Whether the Somalis say they do it for Islam or not, since Muslim clerics are trying to get them to stop, then it can't really be for Islam that they do it.
They did it before Mohammad lived.
They likely are just switching the name of some previous God with that of Allah, but still doing the old practice from before Islam.
If they were fully aware of Islam, then they would not do it.
We can tell Mohammad would not have supported FGM because the whole point of Mohammad creating Islam was to improve the rights of women.
Those who abuse the rights of women are acting totally against what Mohammad wanted.

and specifically Mohammad was against it.
Shameless lie.

Anyone looking out the origins of Islam will find that the whole point of Islam is just to improve the rights of women.
Otherwise it is just the Judaism of the Old Testament.
The main reformations from Judaism is that women no longer were considered to not have a soul, so they could own property, inherit, divorce, etc.
Mohammad then would not have supported the oppression of women.

Where is The Lying Left's OUTRAGE at Genital Mutilations being performed on women in these Muslim Enclaves in America?

You won't hear it. The Left hates women, babies and children as much as Radical Islam does.

To think that we have to start writing laws in AMERICA forbidding Genital Mutilation of little girls is disgusting, vile and putrid.

The Left brought this Evil in to this Country, and The Left should bear the responsibility for such disgusting behavior.

Minnesota lawmaker's push for tougher female genital mutilation law faces opposition

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Republican state legislator Mary Franson has spent two years pushing for a new state law that would allow tougher prosecution of parents who facilitate or allow the genital mutilation of their daughters.

But Franson and supporters of those who want to punish more than just the practitioners of the horribly painful and widely condemned practice are finding opposition, both active and passive, to what its supporters believe should be a legislative no-brainer.

“The bill makes FGM (female genital mutilation) a felony, and it empowers social services to come in and take those children out of the home and remove the parental right from those parents,” Franson told Fox News in an interview. “This is completely on par with child endangerment such as criminal sexual conduct or assault with a dangerous weapon – anything that causes substantial bodily harm.”

Franson’s efforts have been far from smooth sailing. When her bill first hit the floor in 2017, it faced tough questioning from several lawmakers – among them then-state legislator and current U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, who suggested Franson was using the bill as a bid for press attention.

"What I don't want us to do is to create laws because we want to get in the media,” Omar stated in a committee at the time. "What I would like to have been done is to have (the parents) charged with laws that already exist.”

Despite Omar's concerns, she and another 123 House members voted for the bill to pass on. Four other representatives did not. The bill fell flat in the Minnesota Senate.

Franson said Omar should have done more. “Ilhan hasn’t mentioned it at all. She never spoke about it on the House floor. She was in the back room watching it on the TV until it became time to vote, and she had to come out and vote.”

Omar’s support would have been particularly important because she represented the large Somali community where girls are at higher risk of being forced into FGM. And Franson argues it was in fact pressure from that community that kept her bill from moving forward.

Franson pointed to one case in 2017 in which two girls belonging to a small Indian Muslim sect known as the Dawoodi Bohra, according to court documents, who were taken to Michigan to have FGM performed, which Franson said motivated her to examine the issue more carefully.

“If this wasn’t happening,” Franson asked, “then why is our own health department dedicating resources to this?”

The Minnesota Department of Health offers an FGM “cutting prevention and outreach program” that offers funding for the MDH Refugee and International Health Program and the International Institute of Minnesota (IIMN) to form and co-lead a working group dedicated to prevention and community engagement on the matter.

The custom is not only carried out by trained medical practitioners in some communities; but also community elders in non-safe settings - with sharp scissors as a tool of choice.

Muslims are beyond fucked up....

The Shafi`i school of law mandates female genital mutilation. This is the dominant Muslim school of law in southeast Asia:

Islam in Southeast Asia - Wikipedia

Islam mandated male circumcision, but if someone said that meant male castration, they would be lying.
Similarly, while female circumcision is recommended under Islam, (not mandated), that is not anything harmful.
It is just a slit of the prepuce, or possibly trimming labia if they are excessive?
No one knows for sure, because there is nothing on this in writing.

That is only if you believe what Original Tree wrote, which most Muslims do not.

There is no verse in the Quran suggesting FGM at all, and the Hadith says it should be as little as possible
Well, that's an opinion with which millions of Muslims obviously do not agree. So for about the tenth time go complain to them.

I’m not up to date with the genital mutilation thing. Is it any different than circumcision or are we talking about the same thing?

Yes. It is the removal of the clitoris, with a sharp object, while the subject is awake. Unspeakable cruelty.

But here's the reason why this law is being opposed:

What I don't want us to do is to create laws because we want to get in the media,” Omar stated in a committee at the time. "What I would like to have been done is to have (the parents) charged with laws that already exist.”

The idea of taking the children from the parents, automatically terminating their parental rights will PREVENT people from reporting these crimes, in the same way that the immediate arrest and removal of a parent accused of child sexual abuse from the home keeps many children from reporting that abuse.

If victims have their entire lives and families destroyed by reporting, they will hold onto that secret until the day they die. I have a family member who was thrown out of her home, and sent to live with family hundreds of miles away, that she thought were DEAD, because when her step-father beat and raped her when she was 12, and she ran naked and bleeding to the neighbours for help and they called the police. Her mother called her a lying whore who was trying to steal her husband. This child is now retired, and her mother has never forgiven her for the "trouble" she caused that night.

I tried to talk a young boy into going to the police about the violent beatings he and his sister were being subjected to. He had told his grandmother but she herself had been beaten by her son's father and never reported it, either the father or the son. I told the boy I'd go to the police with him, but both he and his sister said that the family would never forgive them.
Like I said, Muslims are beyond fucked up...
