Former Director of ISOO Says It’s Clear that Documents were Classified from Day One

"It's clear from the declassification date — that's their tacit acknowledgement this stuff was classified from day one."

Although a few dozen of Hillary Clinton's publicly released work emails from her time as secretary of state are now stamped "Classified", the U.S. State Department, and Clinton herself, have maintained these classifications are new.

But the dates for declassification marked by the department on those emails raise questions about the assertion that none of the information should have been handled as classified when it first traversed Clinton's private, home email server.

The declassify dates suggest either that the department did not follow standard government classification regulations, or that it might believe that the information in at least 30 email threads reviewed by Reuters was in fact classified on the original day Clinton sent or received it.

"The State Department's blowing smoke here," J. William Leonard, a former director of the U.S. government's Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), said in a telephone interview. "It's clear from the declassification date — that's their tacit acknowledgement this stuff was classified from day one."

The U.S. government prohibits the sending of classified information outside secure networks. Clinton's campaign has been dogged by allegations she may have mishandled sensitive information by using a private email address, run from a server in her home, as secretary of state.

Some Clinton emails newly 'Classified' but declassify dates raise questions
Just another expert calling Clinton a Bold Face Liar.

i was thinking the SAME THING!.

ANYBODY that knows the slightest bit about the government and classified data listening to hillary has to wonder what kind of scenario is it when data from things like THE SATTELITE PROGRAM USED TO GET BIN LADEN, which we know she resceived email about, isnt TOP SECRET RIGHT FROM THE VERY START, WHEN IT IS CREATED, let alone long before being SENT TO HER?

this is what left-wing nutjobs actually want us to believe!

Every day some new tidbit comes out about this. If Hillary were really innocent she would call for a major investigation to clear her name and cooperate fully. She has done everything but.

Exclusive: Dozens of Clinton emails were classified from the start, U.S. rules suggest | Reuters

NEW YORK (Reuters) - For months, the U.S. State Department has stood behind its former boss Hillary Clinton as she has repeatedly said she did not send or receive classified information on her unsecured, private email account, a practice the government forbids.

While the department is now stamping a few dozen of the publicly released emails as "Classified," it stresses this is not evidence of rule-breaking. Those stamps are new, it says, and do not mean the information was classified when Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election, first sent or received it.

But the details included in those "Classified" stamps — which include a string of dates, letters and numbers describing the nature of the classification — appear to undermine this account, a Reuters examination of the emails and the relevant regulations has found.

The new stamps indicate that some of Clinton's emails from her time as the nation's most senior diplomat are filled with a type of information the U.S. government and the department's own regulations automatically deems classified from the get-go — regardless of whether it is already marked that way or not.

Automatically deemed classified? Without a single person looking at it first? Really?

Hillary wasn't the first dumbass. The emails originate elsewhere. By the time they reach her the classification would be known and in the rare case it wasn't her position would mean SHE should know the minute she reads it.

Unfortunately, we are about to see another lesson in the lack of justice in modern America.
A rapist and racist is the most popular Democrat today.

Thank you for your post. I am highlighting the important paragraph.

dunce.

The classified e-mails are the big issue of the day...and I sure do enjoy anything that hurts Mrs. Clinton.

But, waiting their turn are other daunting issues.

An all day grilling by Trey Gowdy!

And why and when did the money-grubbing old crone wipe out all data on her private server used for Government and all other business? Was it After the Subpoenas and Investigations started?

There are so far eleven {coincidental} instances of Mrs. Clinton having business with foreign interests as Secretary of State, and those foreign interests giving huge money to the Clinton Foundation or directly to her husband just to hear him talk, or both.....and that is why the server was destroyed...its just the Top Secret classifications that got her caught.

The dangerous e-mails are not the Top Secret ones...the ones about bribes and kickbacks are the ones that will actually put her in jail.

She is the most unfit person to ever run for the Presidency....Lies, Misfeasance, Negligence, Incompetency, Duplicity...they didn't get her....in the end.....Greed did.

She's done. Its about whether she goes to jail. That may depend on how well that Server was wiped.
