FDR Saved America ?

.You did not explain your silly comment. All you did was offer rhetoric in an attempt to reinforce your nonsense of how a dead guy controlled something from his grave.

No one can accurately speculate how FDR would have handled the Soviets after WWII. Rember, he would have had the atomic bomb in his arsenal.

It should have been dealt with before the end f the war. Stalin should have been told he would not be granted the free range he was. FDRs reluctance to nuke Japan makes me feel like he wouldn’t have nuked Russia.

All of that is secondary in my mind to the domestic damage done by his policies.
FDR never had an operable nuke. First nuke test was not made until months after his death.

The USA gave free range to the Soviets because they were willing to sacrifice millions of Soviet soldiers lives killing millions of German soldiers and defeating entire German Armies on the Eastern Front so that US soldiers would not have to make those horrendous sacrifices on the Western Front.

Why have eighty years of Republican and Democrat Presidencies, Congresses and Supreme Courts supported and reinforced his policies?

Why have his policies been upheld? Simple, you don’t get elected by taken away entitlements. We are driving towards socialism and FDR put most of the gas in the tank.

Largely because there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans. The titles are Red Herrings to make people believe there’s a difference where none exists. They’re all about maintaining Government power, which FDR exponentially expanded. It will take a true Conservative to burn down the Government facade that covers up the diseased carcass underneath.

You’re absolutely correct. We need to derail that train, by ANY means necessary - even Authoritarianism.

His policies gave America one of its most prosperous periods, the Happy Days of the last of the 40's, the 50's, and early 60's.

Which entitlements are you referencing? Educate us about FDR entitlements.

Still can’t imagine why Hitler declared war on America
We were the strongest economy on earth
The average American citizen had no desire to get involved in another pointless European war, and Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor most likely wouldn't have changed their opinion.

But Hitler's ego got the best of him and he declared war on America; the monumental mistake which eventually led to Germany's catastrophic defeat. ...

So what if the American people want a tad more of socialism? The people seemed to want Social Security and Medicare when offered.

People are immoral imbeciles; always have been and probably always will be. That’s why the average people’s opinion should not be ignored but done the total opposite of in most cases.

You should read your links

"By 1927, only the wealthiest 2% of taxpayers paid any federal income tax.[113] Federal spending remained flat during Coolidge's administration, allowing one-fourth of the federal debt to be retired in total. State and local governments saw considerable growth, however, surpassing the federal budget in 1927.[114]"
His policies led to the worst depression in American history.

Hoover and FDR, correct

People dont know what is good for them. Democracy sucks !!

World War II saved the US from the Depression.

Demographic also played a large role in ending the depression. As for FDR- he instituted social security and it has become an under funded albatross and lured (unsophisticated) people into thinking the Government will take care of them in retirement.
Social Security is one of the great social programs of this country
Prior to SS, the elderly were on their own and at the mercy of the economy

Social Security is a Ponzi scheme the likes Bernie Madoff could only dream of.

If I had HALF what was taken from me for that bottomless pit, I'd be set for retirement before 55.

We just gave close to a fifty percent tax cut to corporations

About as far from socialism as you can get

No it’s not

Ponzi schemes don’t survive 75 years

They do, if they are government run

Seems you have no knowledge of what a Ponzi Scheme is or how Social Security works.
