I think Obama's election will fit easily into Black history MONTH , don't you ?

Great, lets take all black achievements and put them in February. You know, black achievements have helped this country in all 12 months, not just one month. Black history is all of our history - its called AMERICAN HISTORY

Even though it is kinda amusing how they agve blacks the shortest month of the year, even when they get an extra day every 4 years

I believe that's why it was originally formulated, to specifically celebrate the achievements of African Americans in school because the history books didn't really delve into their contributions.

You might THINK that but you're wrong. There is no racial tag or inference to the other 11 months out of the year and they are not celebrated to honor white contributions to American history.
