Nixon was an enemy of the Constitution, the Republic, and the American people but he was a member of a Republican Party more interested in sound and responsible governance than the radical extremism we see today. The GOP in those days was made up of many intelligent administrators like Donald Ruckelshaus who understood government could play a positive role in Americans’ lives.

Republicans during that era believed government wasn’t the only answer, but could be part of the solution.

Nelson did. But then he was who he was. Wanted to rule the world. I love Nelson. I wish we could get into his history just a tad more.

    Something about those Rockefellers.

Nixon got elected. Rockefeller told him to bend over and grab his ankles. Most interesting time period to say the least.
