ENTANGLING ALLIANCES: Saudis Keep Changing Their Strory -- What Should We Do?...

It is very revealing that Trump doesn't call the Saudis on their bullshit. He didn't hesitate to make fun of a sexual assault victim, "Where was the party? I don't know..."

But the Saudis show up in force with a bone saw, and then claim the reporter's death was an "accident", and Trump doesn't call them out? Really?

He's always had a thing for thugs.
His number one priority is to not disrupt the trump family business arrangements that he has with the Saudis.

You like high gas prices? Mess with the Saudis, they can make Americans' every day lives pretty miserable. Another very sad entangling alliance.

Is that really the best you could come up with as a reply to my post?

So we can’t have contact with Cuba because of how they treat dissidents but we can Saudi because why?

If that’s you standard, then why put sanctions on Iran ?

Screw Saudi . They need us more than we need them .

Let's seriously reassess our close relationship with Saudi Arabia. Personally, i'm not comfortable calling the Saudis a 'Good Friend.' I say the same about Pakistan and Turkey too. Very sad and regrettable alliances.

I'm ok having contact with Cuba. Why not? But we don't need to make it another entangling alliance.

Just stating the reality. This particular entangling alliance can really effect Americans' every day lives. The Saudis literally have us over a barrel.

Oil and Gas Prices.

So what will trump do, if you Saudi Arabia don't do something to the prince we'll stop buying your oil? is that really what you think? :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

Can't say I give a shit.

It happened in SA so its their problem. Let them solve it.
this, I still don't get how this is the USA's issue at all.

We've made it our business by forging this entangling alliance with Saudi Arabia. What happens in Saudi Arabia now directly effects Americans. It's very sad.
how, we have no influence on their politics. this was an saudi citizen. disgusting, but so?

right, so why would we put 300 million people in peril over one saudi citizen? explain for me how that works.

Some pretty smart folks warned us about entangling alliances back in the day. Our Government should have listened. Considering evil nations like Saudi Arabia 'Close Friends', is selling the American soul to the Devil.

Good article by Ron Paul.

The Saudi version of the disappearance and murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi seems to change every day or so. The latest is the Saudi government claim that the opposition journalist was killed in a “botched interrogation” at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. Or was it a fist-fight? What is laughable is that the Saudi king has placed Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, a prime suspect, in charge of the investigation of Khashoggi’s murder!

Though the official story keeps changing, what is unlikely to change is Washington’s continued relationship with Saudi Arabia. It is a partnership that is in no way beneficial to Americans or the US national interest.

President Trump has promised “severe punishment” if the Saudi government is found to have been involved in Khashoggi’s murder, but he also took off the table any reduction in arms sales to prop up the murderous Saudi war on Yemen. It’s all about jobs, said President Trump. So the Saudi killing of thousands in Yemen can go on. Some murders are more important than others, obviously.

The killing of Khashoggi puts the Trump Administration in a difficult situation. President Trump views Iran as designated enemy number one. Next month the US Administration intends to impose a new round of sanctions designed to make it impossible for Iran to sell its oil on the international market. To keep US fuel prices from spiking over this move Trump is relying on other countries, especially Saudi Arabia, to pump more and make up the difference. But the Saudis have threatened $400 oil...

Dude this guy is the 2 millionth person that the Saudis cut up. Shit these retards cut body parts off of their own wives, did you just arrive on Earth or what?

Apparently, we're making it our business. Lots of Americans are demanding retribution on Saudi Arabia. Personally, i'd just rather see us significantly scale back our presence in the Middle East all-together. And then i'd like to see us untangle ourselves from these alliances with evil nations like Saudi Arabia.

Not disagreeing with you. It's really none of our business. But we've put ourselves in a very dangerous position in regards to 'Close Friends' like Saudi Arabia. It's our 'duty' to defend evil now. For example, most Americans have no idea how many Yemenis our Government has slaughtered to help Saudi Arabia. Horrific war crimes are being committed there. We're complicit.

well do we have any paperwork that we have that says if this do that? I mean, again, this is UN business and only UN business. not ours. Not ours one fking bit. Trump needs to tell everyone to sit the fk down.

I hope he does. I also hope he tells Saudi Arabia the same thing. I'm over that shithole.
