Under that bill as it became law, virtually anyone can ask a law enforcement officer to file an ex parte petition with a state district court judge or commissioner and allege that the gun owner poses an immediate danger to himself/herself or others because (and only because) he or she possesses firearms. If the court issues the order, the police can show up on the doorstep and seize the person’s firearms without notice or warning

ANYONE even a stranger can say oh that person is a danger! This is OBVIOUSLY unconstitutional.

It has to get past a judge first, who agrees with the evidence presented.
What this old fella did certainly proves he should not have had a gun, doesn't it? The law worked. It is a real shame they couldn't confiscate the weapons without harming him, though. Maybe they should have waited until he was out.

This kind of twisted "reporting" is EXACTLY why you folks will lose more of your gun rights in the end. Because you refuse to even consider taking guns from the mentally violently ill.
Nice work. Keep it up. Makes our job easier when you refuse to be reasonable.

Georgia Mountains. Where the men are men and the sheep are nervous.
You have obviously never been here. No surprise.

Lol go ahead and come for our guns...gonna be a lot of dead victims (gun owners) and law enforcement unfortunately. I hope most refuse to follow such unconstitutional laws.

What does that have to do with you fornicating with sheep? Do you hold the sheep at gun point? Sick.

So IOW the OP is wrong, then?
The man answered the door armed with a handgun and a struggle ensued as officers attempted to disarm the man, Davis said.
when the police tell you to so something, you don't argue/fight/etc
you do that in court
most law sites will tell you this --no matter what the arrest/warrant/etc is for
