Do your kids make you Christmas Gifts in School?

I always make sure my students makes a gift for their parent(s) and then we wrap it. They also make their grandparents a Christmas Card. (Since all my students celebrate Christmas, if they celebrated another religion then they would make gifts/cards for that)

All the teachers in our building do that too.


Just wondering if it's done elsewhere around the country.

Nah, the only gifts my kids make are hair balls.

My kids always did. I think it's a great thing because it gives children, no matter what their financial circumstances, the opportunity to give a gift. Learning to give is one of the best gifts of Christmas.
