That is so cute and rubbing his truck on the digger he is defo saying thanks. There are loads of videos of elephants on youtube and it is impossible to see them and not fall in love with the elephants. The people are often saving them from being stuck in a hole particularly babies. The rest of the herd will often watch and give a loud noise of appreciation when the elephant gets free. They are so used to human's doing this they apparently even call for them sometimes.
