We were sent in to stop the violence and succeded by and large, until the Unionists pulled strings in Westminster complaining we were favouring the Catholic minority. Then it all went to rat-shit and stayed that way until the Good Friday Agreement and the majority of the fatalities were innocent civillians on both sides.
