yeah, those shorts were something. a bunch of us had season tix to the celts for years. once they moved to the new bldg, we gave them up. second to last row in the second balcony- i think the last year we had them they were $18. good times.

oh, yeah. i think when we started going in the '70's they were five or six bucks. it was all hoop junkies up there, too, nobody out looking to be seen in the right place. i saw larry get thrown out about 2 seconds into a game once- he got called for travelling and he took the ball and bounced it so hard it almost hit the banners in the rafters- i think he was upset.

I read somewhere he still can't watch the MSU/Indiana State Game because they lost......
But I am glad he's back home again in Indiana, you are were lucky to have him for all those years.

yes, we were. one of the local sports shows did an hour show with larry bird, bobby orr and ted williams. it was amazing. both larry and bobby were clearly in awe of teddy ballgame. wish i could find it- it was a really interesting hour.
