Oh, we are getting massive snow and rain in California. Went out to Barstow last week and much of the 15 was a series of lakes.
Prado damn is overflowing and the Chino Hills wetlands are as full a they've been in decades. We already have had 150% of normal rainfall, with a lot more to come.
Snow is the critical element though, most of the rain just goes into the ocean, we don't collect and store it.

California is on a 7 year cycle. We have had 4 years of drought out of every 7 for my entire life. Next season will be moderate, as last year was., then we will slide back into drought. It's how the climate of the state works.
