In the mountains, 15 feet of snow in places would be a nice start.......years ago, before this last drought, we drove from my father in law's in the Sierras, over the top on Hwy 4 to Tahoe.....in late June....the snow was still piled up on both sides of the road over 10 feet.....in the afternoon, the melt was running all over the road, but still lots more to go.
