The logical thing is to call the police, arrest, and prosecute the guilty.
The illogical thing is to hold an entire political party responsible for the actions of a few criminals.

Too few facts have been published about the incident. However the OP premise that this is wholey representative of any political party is preposterous.

I DO! This has happened more than once. If the cop is Democrat or in this case the JUDGE is Democrat, the police turn a blind eye.

Not in California.

I own all of the property to the gutter, including the sidewalk. The sidewalk is owned by the city, but the land under it is owned by me. Therefore, if I have a tree that grows roots under that sidewalk, I am responsible for damage - unlike if the same tree damaged the street.

Police are public employees and in SEIU. The surprise is only that they weren't beating the man along with the other democrat thugs.

Except the OP link to The Taos New article states at least three times that the signs were "in front of his property". However his simply removing the signs is not a legitimate reason for violence.

Admittedly, I live in a suburban neighborhood in Southern California: Still, I'm trying to figure out how you put a sign in front of someone's property without putting it on their property?

Once past my property, you have concrete and asphalt - neither of which are conducive to putting signs in.

The thugs drove the sign posts in his lawn - simple as that.

HOW do you put a sign in front of one's property WITHOUT USING THE GRASS.

Because it it is stuck in the grass, IT'S MY PROPERTY.

The only other way to do that is to drive it into the cement of the curb or the street.

In which case, I'm calling the police and I'm sure the police would not only remove the signs for putting it ILLEGALLY IN CITY PROPERTY, but cite them for damaging said property.
