Nope, I don't think you understand the federal laws about employees of the government having certain obligations about their communications being the property of the government. Yes, those laws apply to the Secretary of State and other appointees of the POTUS. During the 2016 election there was lots of discussion over Hillary Clinton deleting 30,000 emails. As far as I am concerned she is a light weight. I have probably deleted over 1 million emails in my lifetime.

Her private emails nor her server nor her full gvt emails were under subpoena when the private emails were deleted.

Only Benghazii and Libya emails were under subpoena. They turned those over.

That is a total crock, Care! The FBI was able to retrieve some of the emails that were on Hillary's hidden servers and they contained classified materials.

The FBI retrieved emails from a scrambled file, that the computer shoved things that did not transfer correctly when they upgraded to a new server, is what Director Comey testified. He also said nothing was nefariously done by human hands, to hide any of the emails they were able to retrieve and put back together again.

Who knows what was on the 30,000 emails that she paid someone to "scrub" from her computers once Congressional investigators found out that she'd been lying to them about turning over all materials regarding Benghazi!

Again, that's not true about paying someone to scrub AFTERwards....
IN Dec of 2014, after the 2 or 3 staff members went through all of her emails to send them to the State Dept to have them Nationally archived, and easy access for all FOIA's or congressional requests, her staff deleted all of her private emails that were left, along with deleting all of the gvt emails already pulled off to give to the Archives...

the staff then sent the server to their computer maintenance company that December and directed him to clean the computer , bleach bit, and begin using it for another personal purpose. Bleach bitting it allegedly would clean any gvt emails off of it so that gvt records could not be gotten too nefariously by some hacker, when using it for personal future use...

this order by her staff again was done in December 2014, the subpoena came for JUST the Benghazi and Libya emails in mid march, 2015... no one in December when they ordered it to be repurposed, had a clue about emails ever being subpoenaed in March, or down the road.... they thought they turned all of her emails to be archived over.

Claiming that the emails on her servers were "private" is laughable! She ran the State Department through those two servers...how could that not be "related" to the government?

Don't you remember? the whole reason she was told by her IT guy that if she wanted to keep her personal stuff private and separate from gvt files and reach, and only wanted to carry with her 1 device, phone, that she would need to use a private server... so that is what she did, for convenience, as she stated. the server being owned by her, allowed her to separate the gvt emails out, while keeping her personal emails private, and away from gvt hands.
