I just scrolled though the most recent 100 OPs of Foreign Affairs and Latest Political News & Current Events and found not ONE single OP about the Japs attacking Pearl Harbor in 1941, killing almost 3000 Americans and sinking numerous US Navy ships, on THIS DAY, December 7th.

Sure it was 82 years ago, but July 4th 1776 was longer ago than that, and we dont forget it. Especially in light of the fact that extreme overconfidence played a part in allowing the attacking Japs to violate our airspace, after being picked up on radar (the attack could/should have been prevented, or at least well fought.

Now we have Hamas and the whole Uhmma shouting threats at us, the Mexican border is wide open (anybody can get in), and Oct 7 style attacks in US cities are possible, if not probable. Like the foolish naval officer who brushed off a radar specialist's warnings, these nonchalanters are heading in the same direction.

Yeah, there was one thread shortly after midnight.

Today was Pearl Harbor Day.

Most people that lived through that are dead now.

Damn, I should call somebody that's not.

I used to have a one of a kind memoribilia signed by the many surviving members, purchased two decades ago. Since lost or lifted.

My small town put up flags all up and down the street.

Remember the Fighting 442nd -- a highly decorated, mostly second generation (Nisei) Japanese regiment. My husband's uncle fought with them.

My late Japanese husband and his white friend used to rib each other on Pearl Harbor Day by phoning one another and shouting TORA! TORA! TORA!

.

I don't put my flag out anymore. It's too old. I've been putting it out since I was about 8. Same flag, all holidays.

Pearl Harbor Day, Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th.

Knots on it tied by my uncle that died when I was 18. I have it hung inside.

Need to get a new flag, I guess. :dunno:

Thank you.

I have moved to a place in the Midwest where the winds are so fierce that flags just get beat up if I neglect to take them in when a storm is coming! I've been through two of them in the two years I've lived here.

Without imaginary terror threats, what would the FBI do?

There are people in Japan that deny they ever attacked Pearl Harbor. You and them are cut from the same cloth in your denials of documented history. Give that some thought.
I'll give thought to whatever so-called "denials of documented history" are you speak of, when I have some idea of what you're talking about. I'll give no thought at all to what you don't specify.

So who do you want to rely on for information ? CAIR ?

Here's what YOU can do. Read THIS >>

Some yellow people did something. But we nuked the hell out of them so they're not mean anymore. And it only took 5 years.

Then some brown people did something in 2001. And it took 20 years but we got about 4 million of them for what they did.

And then some more yellow people tried to kill the world with a virus in 2020. They did get 1.156 million of us, so we owe them a good ass kicking, even if it is only economic.

Go Trump.

Not sure anything in 1941 would be a "current event" or "latest news", but get used to the new normal. the WWII vets are almost all gone. They will be relegated to the ranks of the veterans of 1812, the civil war, and WWI. The Grim Reaper seems to be picking up the pace on Korean War veterans as well. Just how it works.

Yet you firmly believe Trump is Putin’s puppet, vax is safe and effective, and Russia was unprovoked.

You may not know this, but Candycorn has the world's only existing bootleg copy of the Trump Pee Tape.

I spent some time snuggling with her on the couch last year, eating popcorn, and watching the tape.

Don't let anyone fool you. Trump is hung like a horse. More so than Hunter Biden.

War should not be glorified.
The US has started every war we have been in since 1812.
With Japan, we illegally sanctioned food, oil, steal, coal, etc.
We treated them badly as WWI allies.
We should not have been in Hawaii, Vietnam, the Philippines, Korea, etc.

You suck. As a citizen of Wisconsin, I now declare war against the state of New Mexico.

Prepare your anus.
